Kellan Lutz & Jackson Rathbone Reunite at Comic Con 'Twilight' 10th Anniversary!

November marks ten years since the first Twilight movie arrived in theaters!

To mark the anniversary, Twilight stars Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone and Edi Gathegi reunited at 2018 New York Comic Con on Sunday (October 7) alongside director Catherine Hardwicke to reflect on their experience as part of a massive cultural phenomenon.

“It’s been interesting looking back 10 years ago at the first Twilight movie coming out because this was before Facebook became the monolith it is, before Twitter and Instagram even existed,” Jackson said (via EW). “This was a film that captured so many people before social media and connected them across the world. The amount of people I’ve met who have been like, ‘Oh because of this series and fandom I was able to meet my best friend, even though we lived in different countries.’ I’ve heard stories from mothers and daughters who said they really connected over these books and films.”

Kristen Stewart
and Robert Pattinson were unable to attend the panel, but thanked the audience for all the support fans have given the franchise throughout the years via video.

“I feel like we all kind of grew up together…,” Kristen said. “I love you guys; I’m totally there in spirit.”

In other news, Jackson has new music and a new movie! His indie film Heart, Baby! will be released in limited theaters next month, as well as on VOD. He also just debuted his new single “Young and Tragic,” which you can get on iTunes.

Ryan Reynolds Celebrates Canada Day with a 'Twilight' Joke

Ryan Reynolds is using his signature humor in a tweet to celebrate Canada Day!

The holiday celebrates the anniversary of the day on which the three separate colonies of Canada formed into the country we know today as Canada. This year is the 150th anniversary.

“150 is nothing. It’s like, Robert Pattinson‘s age in the Twilight Movies. Happy Birthday I guess. #Canada150,” Ryan tweeted.

Ryan was born in Vancouver, where he currently is right now while shooting the upcoming Deadpool sequel. Check out the new set photos!

Robert Pattinson Reveals If He'd Reboot 'Twilight': 'I'm Always Kind of Curious'

Robert Pattinson was asked if he would ever reboot his hit movie franchise Twilight, where he played the role of Edward Cullen.

When asked about the possibility of a reboot of the Twilight series, Robert responded, “Really, they’re expanding it? So I’ll get my own spin-off?”

“I mean, I’m always kind of curious. Anything where there’s a mass audience – or seemingly an audience for it – I always like the idea of subverting people’s expectations. So there could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It’s always difficult when there’s no source material. But, yeah, I’m always curious,” he added to Yahoo.

On his relationship with the Twilight fan base, Robert said, “It’s definitely calmed down in terms of my everyday life, but mainly because I spend more time in London, which is totally different. And I’m doing more parts that just sort of interest me, while in a lot of ways taking a little bit of a step back just to learn and get better. I guess I’ve never really acknowledged what the fan base is, or even if I have one.”

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner also starred in the films.

New 'Twilight' Book Reverses Edward & Bella's Genders!

Stephanie Meyer, the author of the popular “Twilight” series, appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday (October 6) to announce she’s written a new version of the story with swapped genders.

Instead of the story focusing on Edward and Bella, they are now Edythe and Beau, told through the eyes of the male character Beau. “I wanted to do something fun for the 10th anniversary,” Stephanie said, adding that she was bothered by people who thought Bella was a “damsel in distress,” so she flipped the genders.

“Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined” is now available online and in stores!

Edward and Bella were played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the movies.

I’m pleased we have this opportunity for devoted fans to relive the extraordinary ‘Twilight’ experience, as well as for a new generation of readers to discover it for the very first time,” Megan Tingley, the public and EVP of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers added.

This is HUGE news for fans of both the Twilight films and books – there will be new short films created around characters from the series!

Lions Gate just announced that they will be selecting five aspiring female directors to direct the new mini-movies, which will be shown exclusively on Facebook next year. The films will be about characters from the series, but will not feature any original cast members.

You can probably guess what might be coming next.”

A panel of women in the entertainment industry will be selecting the female directors. The panelists include Kristen Stewart, author Stephenie Meyer, Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Julie Bowen, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, film producer Cathy Schulman, and Frozen director Jennifer Lee.
