The new book “Midnight Sun,” from Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, is just days away and you might be wondering if a film version will ever be made.

Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first Twilight movie, is speaking out about the possibility of a Midnight Sun movie happening. And, would Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson be involved?

“I think a re-cut would be difficult, because we did stay a lot more in Bella’s head,” she told ET. “It would be another film, which would be fun. It would be fascinating.”

Catherine also doesn’t think Kristen and Rob would be able to add the movie to their schedules if they were to re-film scenes.

“Rob is Batman now… and Kristen is in a million beautiful projects,” Catherine said. “Who knows what would happen.”

An actor from the first Twilight movie was discovered dead at the age of 30 back in May.

Twilight star Gregory Tyree Boyce‘s cause of death has been released after his tragic death a few weeks ago at the young age of 30.

In mid-May, the 30-year-old Twilight actor was discovered deceased with his 27-year-old girlfriend Natalie Adepoju.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office told E! News that both Gregory and Natalie died from “fentanyl and cocaine intoxication.”

At the time of his death, his family released a statement about the tragedy.

Gregory‘s only big-screen acting credit is his role as Tyler Crowley in the 2008 movie Twilight. In case you don’t remember, Tyler is the student at Forks High School who almost runs over Bella with his van before Edward saves her life.

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has confirmed that her novel, “Midnight Sun,” will be released on August 4!

The book is highly anticipated by Twilight fans, and is told from the perspective of Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson in the movies, instead of Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart in the films.

“I am very excited to finally, finally announce the release of ‘Midnight Sun’ on August 4. It’s a crazy time right now and I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn’t seem fair to make you wait anymore. Sorry about the bad timing. Hopefully this book can be a distraction from the real world,” Stephenie Meyer told GMA this morning.

Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight series, has an announcement on the way and fans are speculating what it could be.

The countdown clock on Stephenie‘s website ends at midnight on Monday (May 4) and people think that her Twilight spinoff book “Midnight Sun” might finally be on the way.

The new book was a different version of the original, told by Edward’s point of view.

“While I was procrastinating some real editing work (I’m always at my most creative when procrastinating), I started to wonder how the first chapter of Twilight would read if it were written from Edward’s perspective,” she wrote on her website back in 2008. “There is so much more to his side of the story than there is to Bella’s in that first chapter. After all, Bella only knows that an incredibly gorgeous boy is looking at her funny. Meanwhile, Edward is suffering through one of the most momentous days of his very long life!”

“First there’s the shock and frustration of not being able to hear Bella’s thoughts, then the wild, monstrous reaction to her scent, followed by the incredible expenditure of self-control that it takes to not kill her,” she added. “His side of Bella’s first day at Forks High School is a hundred times more exciting than her own.”

Umm, this isn’t what we were expecting when we saw that Twilight was trending again!

It’s been nearly eight years since the final movie in the film franchise was released, but Twilight is making headlines again after the Bella’s Lullaby song from the film’s score was turned into a sexy dance on TikTok.

It all started when TikTok user @twaimz created the dance and posted it to his account. The video has been liked over 1.9 million times already and there are countless recreations of the dance.

The videos started with people looking upset and then breaking into a sexy dance routine. The original video even involved some twerking against a wall!

It’s a Twilight reunion!

Here’s what the Twilight star had to say…

On his career: ”I feel very fortunate to have been able to make a living over the last twenty five years doing what I am most passionate about…telling stories. As an actor I tell a story using my voice and body – through a character. As a writer, I can create the story, and as a director, with the collaboration of many, I can bring that story life.”

On not originally wanting to do Twilight: “When my agents first approached me, they asked me if I wanted to do a vampire film. I said no…the way they pitched it — it sounded like a bad horror film, but after I read the book, I was desperate to be a part of it. I thought it was so well done. It was this beautiful love story with the vampire world as a mystical backdrop.”

On the next chapter of his career: “I’m open. I feel like I have just scratched the surface on what I want to achieve in my work and I’m open and excited for what’s next…I don’t have 5, 10, or 20 year goals. I try to live in the moment. And that moment takes me to the next.”
