Hailee Steinfeld is showing off her archery skills on set of Hawkeye!

The 24-year-old actress filmed an action-packed scenes in the streets of Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday afternoon (February 21).

In the scene, Hailee aimed her bow up in the air before shooting one of her arrows.

Across set, Hailee‘s co-star Jeremy Renner was hanging with a crew member while getting ready to film a scene himself.

Hailee and the 50-year-old actor recently arrived in Atlanta to continue filming their upcoming Disney+ series.

The series is based on the Marvel Comics superhero Hawkeye, centering on the adventures of Young Avenger Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), who took on the role after the original Avenger, Clint Barton (Renner).

In more set photos from back in December, it appears we are also getting our first look at a villain from Hawkeye!

In between scenes, Jeremy was spotted joking around with crew members while Hailee practiced shooting her bow and arrow.

Hailee Steinfeld suits up in her suit and gets in target practice with her bow and arrow while filming Hawkeye on Wednesday night (February 10) in Atlanta, Ga.

This is the first time we’re seeing the 24-year-old actress shooting bow and arrows after she was seen in her suit for the first time back in December.

We actually haven’t had new Hawkeye set photos in quite some time! The last time the stars were on set was back in December.

Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about being a part of the new Hawkeye series!

The 24-year-old actress opened up in a new interview about joining the Marvel universe and her new role as a superhero in the upcoming Disney+ series.

Hailee was spotted filming with co-star Jeremy Renner in New York City for weeks before she officially confirmed she was a part of the show in December.

“I guess in a way, it was kind of a blessing in disguise that I didn’t and couldn’t be around a lot of people, cause that was a hard one to keep to myself,” Hailee told People, while referring to social distancing rules in place because of the pandemic.

Hailee continued, “I am so honored to be a part of this family that is the MCU.”

In the upcoming series, Hailee plays Kate Bishop, who in the comics also fights crimes under the “Hawkeye” name.

“She is an incredible character and it’s been a really fun journey so far,” Hailee shared.

Hailee stars in the Hawkeye series alongside Jeremy, Vera Farmiga, and Florence Pugh.

Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about one fan theory amongst Taylor Swift fans about her latest album, evermore.

Apparently, some Swifties are convinced that the album is inspired by poet Emily Dickinson, whom Hailee plays in her Apple TV series, Dickinson.

The clues about the connection start with when Taylor announced the album, on December 10, which happens to be Emily‘s birthday, as well as Emily ending one of her famous poems, “One Sister Have I in Our House” with the word “forevermore”.

Taylor has also spoken about an idea for her album with “this girl sleepwalking through the forest in a nightgown in 1830″, which happens to be the year Emily was born.

Elsewhere, Swifties are also thinking that Taylor‘s song “Ivy” might be about Emily and her partner, Sue.

In a recent interview while promoting season two of Dickinson, Hailee reacted to the theory.

“I don’t know [if 'evermore' is based on Emily Dickinson], but I’m dying to know,” she shared. “The clues are lining up. I gotta figure that out.”

Hailee Steinfeld has opened up for the first time about stepping into the shoes of Kate Bishop for Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, Hawkeye.

The 24-year-old actress will star alongside Jeremy Renner in the series, which will make its debut in 2021 on the streaming service.

Hailee has been spotted filming with Jeremy in New York City just recently and donning a purple suit.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Hailee revealed her excitement for the role and show.

“I can’t wait for people to see how we are interpreting this character through the comics and in our own sort of ways,” she shared, adding that Kate is “such a badass, there’s no denying that.”

Hailee adds, “She’s so smart and witty and quick and her physical ability to do so many things is through the roof. It’s really tested me and kept me going through quarantine, I will say. It’s given me a reason to stay with it.”

Earlier in the year, when Hailee was questioned about her involvement in the series, she didn’t say a word.
