Zendaya appears to be the only celebrity who wore a mask while sitting inside Union Station during the 2021 Oscars and fans are sending her so much praise!
The 24-year-old actress, who was a presenter at the show, wore a yellow mask that matched her dress while attending the event on Sunday (April 25) in Los Angeles.
Throughout the show, whenever Zendaya was spotted sitting at her table in the audience, she always had her mask on while the majority of other people sat there maskless.
Regina King, who was the first presenter of the night, told the audience about the evening’s mask protocol and said they were treating it like a movie set: when the camera is rolling, the masks can come off, and when the camera stops rolling, the masks go on.

While the stars were walking the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, us here at JustJared.com noticed a big trend among the actresses – cutout dresses!

The Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards event is streaming tonight (April 22) and photos from the pre-taped event have been released!
Zendaya looked gorgeous while walking her first red carpet in over a year and Oscar nominee Andra Day also made an in-person appearance for the awards show.
Other attendees included Laverne Cox, Leslie Jones, Storm Reid, and “Me Too” founder Tarana Burke.
Zendaya and Andra are both honorees at the event alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Cynthia Erivo, and Michaela Coel. The show is being hosted by Laverne and Storm is hosting the pre-show. Leslie and Tarana are two of the evening’s presenters!

The 2021 Oscars have announced the first batch of presenters for next weekend’s award show.
In a trailer like announcement, the video asks, “In a world filled with award shows, what if an award show was actually a movie? Which stars would you cast?”
Producers Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher and Steven Soderbergh have said that in “keeping with our awards-show-as-a-movie approach, we’ve assembled a truly stellar cast of stars” for the first batch of presenters.
“There’s so much wattage here, sunglasses may be required,” they added in the statement.
On top of last year’s winners Bong Joon Ho, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern, Renee Zellweger and Brad Pitt, the “cast” will also feature Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Reese Witherspoon, and Zendaya.
More of the “cast” are expected to be revealed soon.
The 2021 Oscars will be held Sunday, April 25 at both the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and at L.A.’s Union Station.
Only nominees and presenters will be allowed to attend due to COVID-19 safety protocols. This other rule about the show has been amended.
Zendaya has joined the cast of the upcoming movie Space Jam: A New Legacy in the role of Lola Bunny!
The 24-year-old Emmy-winning actress will be voicing the iconic character in the sequel to the 1996 movie, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Space Jam: A New Legacy director Malcolm D. Lee previously revealed that Lola Bunny will have a different look in the new film to make her more “fully-realized.”

“Lola was not politically correct,” he previously told EW about the previous portrayal of the character. “This is a kids’ movie, why is she in a crop top? It just felt unnecessary, but at the same time there’s a long history of that in cartoons.”
He added, “We reworked a lot of things, not only her look, like making sure she had an appropriate length on her shorts and was feminine without being objectified, but gave her a real voice. For us, it was, let’s ground her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her as full a character as the others.”
Zendaya will also be seen on the big screen this year in another Warner Bros. movie, Dune!
