Russell Westbrook is very giving!

The 31-year-old Houston Rockets superstar player left a very big $8,000 tip for housekeepers following his stay in the same hotel room on the Disney World campus for months, TMZ reported Tuesday (October 6).

Most players were in the same hotel room on campus while in the NBA bubble amid the pandemic.

“The 31-year-old gave mad respect to those doing the dirty work before the Rockets left the bubble…gifting them the massive tip and leaving his room ‘virtually spotless,’ according to Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News. Brodie confirmed the act to Taylor Rooks, saying, ‘They took great care of us. Took the time & energy to do their job at a high level. That was the right thing,’” the outlet reports.

The NBA players and coaches have reportedly been “extremely kind to all Disney staffers with tips and other kind gestures” throughout their time in the bubble.

Russell Westbrook tested positive with coronavirus in the summer.

Russell Westbrook has been diagnosed with COVID-19 aka the Coronavirus and he has released a message to his fan base.

The 31-year-old Houston Rockets star posted on Twitter, “I tested positive for covid-19 prior to my team’s departure to Orlando. I’m currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared. Thank you all for the well wishes and continued support. Please take this virus seriously.”

He ended his message with, “Be safe. Mask up!”

The NBA is currently being held right now in Orlando with all players quarantined simultaneously so that players can safely play after everyone has tested negative. It looks like Russell will have to wait until he’s cleared in order to play again.

The stars are stepping out to remember Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

Tons of celebrities and athletes filled the Staples Center to attended Kobe and Gianna‘s Celebration of Life on Monday (February 24) in Los Angeles.

Stars in attendance included Alicia Keys, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, and Snoop Dogg.

Athletes in attendance included Shaquille O’Neal, Lamar Odom, Michael Phelps and wife Nicole, Scottie Pippen, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Anthony Davis.

Kobe‘s longtime friend and current General Manager for the Lakers Rob Pelinka as well as former Lakers’ coach Phil Jackson also attended.

Drake will perform at the Wynn in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve!

The 32-year-old “Behind Barz” rapper took the stage at XS Nightclub on Saturday (September 14) as part of his exclusive partnership with Wynn Las Vegas.

James Harden, Jamie Foxx, Kygo, PartyNextDoor, Russell Westbrook, and more were all in attendance.

Continuing his partnership with the property, Wynn Las Vegas has revealed that Drake will return to the nightclub as part of New Year’s Eve Weekend on December 30. Tickets will be available tomorrow here.

Diplo and The Chainsmokers will be rounding out NYE Weekend at XS Nightclub.

Fans can also enjoy Drake‘s OVO Pop-Up at Wynn Plaza and collect exclusive weekly drops every Friday from now until January 12.

Miley Cyrus wears an all-black outfit while stepping out for the Tom Ford fashion show during New York Fashion Week on Monday night (September 9) in New York City.

Some of the other stars who attended the event included Ansel Elgort, models Joan Smalls and Amber Valletta, football player Russell Westbrook, fashion editor Derek Blasberg, designers Rachel Zoe and Diane Von Furstenberg, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Looking good, Russell Westbrook!

The 30-year-old NBA star, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder and is known for his love of fashion, stars in Acne Studios‘ Spring/Summer 2019 Campaign.

The campaign focuses on denim, with jeans being the first garment ever produced by Acne Studios over 20 years ago.

In the images, Russell plays basketball in unexpected Oklahoma locations.

“I was already a huge fan of Acne Studios, so I was really excited when they asked me to be the face for their new campaign,” Russell said. “I really identify with Acne Studios because their aesthetic is very unique, and I like to be unique too.”

Among the Acne Studios denim worn by Russell in the shoot is the 1996 fit, a style that recreates the first jeans ever created by Acne Studios.
