LeBron James & Anthony Davis Get Tattoos Honoring Kobe Bryant

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are paying tribute to their longtime friend Kobe Bryant.

LeBron and Anthony both took to their Instagram Stories on Wednesday (January 29) to reveal they were in the process of getting tattoos honoring the late basketball star after he and daughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash.

As of right now, the two Lakers players did not reveal what artist Vanessa Aurelia tattooed on them, but photographers caught a glimpse of LeBron‘s new ink on his left thigh during a team workout on Thursday.

It’s hard to tell what LeBron got because of the clear bandage, but the tattoo appears to be a snake, in reference to Kobe’s “Black Mamba“ nickname, along with the words, “Mamba 4 Life.”

According to his Instagram Story, it appears that Anthony got a similar tattoo.

If you missed it, you can read the heartfelt and emotional tribute LeBron posted remembering Kobe.
