A third season of One Day at a Time is on the way after fans campaigned for Netflix to renew the beloved series!

Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Todd Grinnell, Stephen Toblowsky, Isabella Gomez, and Marcel Ruiz will all return for the 13 new episodes, set to debut in 2019.

A re-imagining of the iconic Norman Lear sitcom, One Day at a Time is a hilarious and heartfelt comedy that follows three generations of a Cuban-American family sometimes-reluctantly co-habitating and navigating the ups and downs of life.

“I’m so grateful to everyone who wrote about our show everyone who watched it over and over again and all of you beautiful people!!!! Thank you #dale,” Justina tweeted after the news was announced.

The legendary 86-year-old actress is wearing the same dress that she wore to the Oscars in 1962 when she won the award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Anita in the movie West Side Story.

“Yes, It’s true! See you all on the #RedCarpet soon!” Rita tweeted after the news about her dress choice was revealed online.

Rita is currently starring on the Netflix series One Day at a Time.

It’s a big night for Morgan Freeman at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

The 80-year-old star will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony by his Electric Company co-star Rita Moreno, who he posed with on the red carpet.

Rita promises to tell the audience something funny during her speech. “I wanna impart something quite amusing on the times we worked together in the Electric Company,” she said.
