The 39-year-old mom of three took to Twitter on Wednesday (August 19) to address a screenshot that started circulating from her account saying that she was done with the Bravo reality show.
“Hope everyone enjoys tonight’s episode of #RHOBH — it’s a bumpy ride!” the screenshot from Teddi‘s account read. “After 3 seasons, I have decided to walk away from the show. I wish the cast, production and Bravo all the best in future seasons, and I am grateful that I have made some lifelong friends out of this experience.”
Teddi then took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight, saying that it’s all “fake news.”
“#Fake News I didn’t tweet this but thanks for the extra press,” Teddi wrote along with the screenshot.
“I was going to say something, but I wasn’t sure if I could say it,” Jana shared with guests Melissa and Joe Gorga. “We might have auditioned for a certain Housewives thing, but we haven’t heard back yet.”
Jana then explained that she has some reservations about joining the show.
“I would be so afraid that we’d be eaten alive and spit out and then like canceled the next day,” Jana said, to which Melissa responded, “You’ll be so cute and loved and real!”
Jana said that she and husband Mike Caussin auditioned “during quarantine” over Zoom back in May, but “haven’t heard anything.”
“So I’m like maybe we were just boring people,” Jana continued.
Melissa then asked if Jana and her family would then move to Beverly Hills, since they currently live in Nashville, and Jana said, “Yeah.”
“We lived there before we came back to Nashville,” Mike added while Jana said, “We would just do like part-time.”
Jana then said that she’s friends with current HousewifeTeddi Mellencamp.
“Teddi is a friend, but I have not heard anything, so I’m sure it’s not going any further,” Jana said. She went on to say that she texted Teddi after the audition, to which Teddi said she heard Jana‘s audition “went good.”
“I went in very naïve, I think, the very first season. I want to be myself, because some people do know of me and I didn’t want to play a character, otherwise let’s call it scripted. So I just wanted to be myself on the show, and you know, whatever happens happens, and just react how I really would,” she said of filming.
“My first season I had a great time getting to know all the women, and it was fun to be able to — you know, we get to go to fabulous restaurants and trips, and I had fun with them, and I genuinely formed some great friendships,” she went on to say, adding that the following season has been different.
“It’s been a different experience…but, you know, people are watching, so that’s good.”
As has been previously reported, Brandi Glanvilleclaims that she had an affair with Denise, which Denise has denied. The scenario has not yet played out on TV.
“If it airs the way it was shot, then people will see what happened,” she said of the sitaution.
“We wrapped for the season and then we do all our confessionals and everything,” she went on to say of the show’s production.
“I think that we’re on hiatus because we got so far behind with the confessionals with the COVID. We just recently started doing them where we’re filming ourselves basically. We have someone come in and set everything up with a mask…so we got behind for that. So I think that’s part of the reason why we have to go on hiatus. We gotta catch up with the episodes.”
The 59-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted a very cheeky video of herself on Monday (April 7) on her Instagram while social distancing at home.
“Taking care of myself …,” she captioned the video, in which she’s seen vigorously scrubbing and making suggestive faces before the camera pans down to reveal what she’s actually doing.
The 38-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband welcomed a baby girl, she revealed on Instagram on Tuesday (February 25).
Teddi posted a video from her hospital room playing with her baby daughter’s toes, while Edwin posted a video from her bed: “@teddimellencamp was a champ in the delivery room! Baby and mommy as healthy as can be,” he wrote.
The two are already the parents to daughter Slate, 7, and Cruz, 5. Edwin also has an 11-year-old daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality television star responded to reports that she was hooking up for months with her co-star Brandi Glanville with a succinct statement to People on Wednesday (January 8).
“It isn’t true,” her publicist said.
Earlier, the Daily Mail reported that the star walked away from filming the reality show due to Brandi spreading the rumor that they had a “passionate months-long affair.”
A source confirmed to People that Denise did not attend the RHOBH finale party in December, but filming is complete and has been for weeks.
“What really happened with Brandi and Denise will play out on the season. There is a lot of she said, she said going on. But it’s going to be very dramatic,” a source told the publication.
