Prince Charles was the first royal to make an official appearance after the airing of Oprah with Harry and Meghan, the bombshell interview by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The 72-year-old royal visited Jesus House church to see a vaccine pop-up clinic in action on Tuesday (March 9) in London, England.

While he was leaving the facility, ITV’s Lizzie Robinson caught a video of the moment in question. “Sir, can I ask what did you think of the interview,” he was asked. A royal reporter said he “smiled and didn’t answer.”

Prince Harry revealed a lot about his current relationship with his dad and it does not seem like they’re in a good place. Harry even revealed his dad at one point stopped taking his calls during Megxit.

A body language expert also spoke about how it appeared Prince Harry really feels about his dad today.

A body language expert was able to break down who they believe Prince Harry holds some anger towards based on his interview in Oprah with Meghan and Harry, which aired last night.

“I think specifically what emerged was his anger about his father,” body language expert Judi James told Metro UK. “He spoke with affection about the Queen, he spoke with love for his brother, William,” she said. “But when his father was mentioned, the dramatic pause lasting several seconds before he spoke kind of said everything, really.

“And that’s when he started to do the fast blinking. He sighed, he did a leg judder, he did a tongue poke,” she continued.

“So that’s where probably the key focus of resentment seems to lie,” she argued.

Prince Harry was asked about the state of his relationship with his family amid rumors of many rifts in the royal family. He disclosed this information during Oprah with Meghan and Harry.

Prince Harry began by saying his relationship with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, is so strong! He revealed he’s spoken to her more in the last year than in the past few years.

Oprah then asked about his relationship with his father, Prince Charles, and she asked, “Is he taking your calls now?”

“He is [taking my calls]. There’s a lot to work through there. I feel really let down, because he’s been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like. And Archie’s his grandson. But at the same time, of course I will always love him. But there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened. And I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship. But they only know what they know, and that’s the thing. I’ve tried to educate them through the process that I’ve been educated,” Harry said, referencing race.

Oprah then asked about his brother, Prince William.

“I love William to bits, we’ve been through hell together. We were on different paths,” Harry added, not saying much.

“No one wants to admit there’s anything about race…and yet, Meghan shared with us there was a conversation with you about Archie‘s skin tone. What was that conversation?”

Harry then said he’d never share that conversation.

“At the time it was awkward. I was a bit shocked,” he responded. “There was some real obvious signs before I even got married that this was going to be really hard.”

“The relationship is space at the moment. Time heals all things,” he added about Prince William. “I’m really proud of us. I’m so proud of my wife…we did what we had to do.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton joined many of their royal family in appearing in the Commonwealth Day broadcast on Sunday (March 7).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared during the broadcast and spoke with Dr. Zolelwa Sifumba, a frontline healthcare worker based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“This #CommonwealthDay The Duke and Duchess spoke with medical, charity and voluntary staff from across the Commonwealth to hear more about the work they have been carrying out to care for those within their communities,” the Cambridges’ Kensington Royal shared along with a snippet of the virtual chat on Instagram.

Just before their chat aired, William‘s father, Prince Charles, spoke from Westminster Abbey and praised the people throughout the Commonwealth during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Amidst such heart-breaking suffering, however, the extraordinary determination, courage and creativity with which people have responded has been an inspiration to us all,” he said.

Queen Elizabeth opened up the broadcast with a message on unity.

“Over the coming week, as we celebrate the friendship, spirit of unity and achievements of the Commonwealth, we have an opportunity to reflect on a time like no other,” Her Majesty said. “The testing times experienced by so many have led to a deeper appreciation of the mutual support and spiritual sustenance we enjoy by being connected to others.”

The Commonwealth Day broadcast aired just hours before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s interview with Oprah.

Prince Charles arrives at King Edward VII hospital for a visit with his sick father, Prince Philip, on Saturday (February 20) in London, England.

The 72-year-old royal, who is next in line for the throne, reportedly made a two-hour journey to spend some time with his dad, who will turn 100 in June.

BBC reports that Charles spent 30 minutes at the hospital.

It’s not known whey Philip is currently hospitalized, though it is said to not be coronavirus-related and his admittance to the hospital was out of “an abundance of caution.” He’s expected to remain there until next week.

The last time we saw Prince Philip was back in July when he made a rare public appearance.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are paying a visit.

The royal couple made a visit to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday (February 17) to meet healthcare workers and volunteers taking part in COVID-19 vaccine trials in Birmingham, England.

The 72-year-old and 73-year-old royals wore surgical face masks on their visit, and spoke about getting their first round of vaccines earlier this month.

“I leapt for joy,” Camilla said to staff.

“I didn’t feel anything. I’m eternally grateful for everything,” adding that it “doesn’t hurt.”

“I was waiting for it to be done and they said, ‘It has been done.’ It was painless. It was brilliant. It’s very good when it’s over as you feel more secure. Panic over,” she continued.

“Ladies and Gentleman, the Secretary of State mentioned just now that the National Health Service was 72 years old, which happens to coincide exactly with the same age as I am. And the great thing is that the NHS has done a great deal better I can assure you than I have, as I am gradually falling apart,” Prince Charles said.

“I know, over the last year, it must be absolutely exhausting for so many of you. But I know the NHS is such an enormous team and there are masses of people who are unsung and unseen heroes and heroines.”

Their visit also marks the first in-person engagement for any member of the British royal family in 2021 amid the pandemic.

Two other royals received the vaccine recently.

As the British Royal Family keeps expanding, the line of succession is also changing.

After Meghan Markle announced she and Prince Harry were expecting a second baby, and the birth of Princess Eugenie‘s baby boy, the line has shifted down a few spots for the children and grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth.

There have been some things that have stayed the same, like Prince Charles still first in line to become King of England following his 94-year-old mother in the role.

When he ascends to the throne, it’s assumed that Archie and his unborn sibling, who have no titles at the moment, might receive one. However, that is still yet to be confirmed.
