It must be our lucky day because two new Maleficent posters have just been released, featuring the stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning.

Maleficent tells the untold story of the villain from Sleeping Beauty’ and reveals the events that hardened Maleficent’s heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora, only to later realize that the child may hold the key to peace in the land.

One poster is a banner from Yahoo, and the other is the poster for French audiences.

Angelina Jolie stuns in this brand new trailer for her upcoming Disney film Maleficent.

We are being so spoiled this week – the 38-year-old actress’ film released a new poster and teaser trailer the day before as well and we absolutely cannot wait to see this film in its entirety!

Also starring in the flick, set to be released on May 30, are Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Brenton Thwaites, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.

Angelina Jolie spreads her wings wide in this new poster for her highly anticipated movie Maleficent.

“I had wings once. And they were strong, but they were stolen from me,” the photo of the wings was captioned.

The poster was revealed on the film’s Twitter account, which was locked shortly before the photo was shared and presumably won’t be opened again until the “curse” is broken.

“But evil has a beginning. Do you want to learn the truth about #Maleficent? Follow NOW before it is too late,” the account tweeted before the curse started.

Angelina Jolie is gorgeously chilling in character as Maleficent on the cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s latest issue.

“The exercise wasn’t how can we have fun with a villain?” the 38-year-old actress told the mag. “It was: What turns people evil and vile and aggressive and cruel? What could have possibly happened to her?”

She also opened up about her decision to have a double mastectomy last year.

“Wherever I go, usually I run into women and we talk about health issues, women’s issues, breast cancer, ovarian cancer. I’ve talked to men about their daughters’ and wives’ health. It makes me feel closer to other people who deal with the same things and have either lost their parents or are considering surgeries or wondering about their children,” Angelina said. “I was very, very moved by all the support and kindness from so many people.”

Check out Angelina Jolie in the first official teaser trailer for her highly anticipated new film Maleficent!

The trailer features the first glimpse of the 38-year-old actress’ five-year-old daughter Vivienne as the Young Princess Aurora, as well as Elle Fanning as the older version of the character, is also seen in the trailer.

Maleficent is the “Sleeping Beauty” tale told from the perspective of the villainous Maleficent and looks at the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse young Princess Aurora.

Angelina Jolie is a glaring presence on the poster for her upcoming film Maleficent!

This is the first poster for the 38-year-old actress’ brand new movie, which is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2014.

The flick also stars Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

Angelina Jolie looks positively glowing while making an appearance on stage during the Maleficent presentation at the 2013 Disney D23 Expo on Saturday morning (August 10) at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

The 38-year-old actress told a story about how her costume scared all the children visiting the set except her own daughter Vivienne, who has a small part in the film as Young Aurora.

“The strange thing was people with little kids would visit the set and I would think, ‘I’m a Disney character!’” Angelina said (via EW). “I’d go over to the children and say hi. And they would scream and run off. One little boy actually said Mommy, ‘Please, tell the mean witch to please stop talking to me.’”

“She was the only 4-year-old who wouldn’t scream,” Angie added of Vivi.

FYI: Angelina is wearing a Versace top with Saint Laurent pants and shoes.
