Kathy Griffin Slams Andy Cohen: 'He Treated Me Like a Dog'

Kathy Griffin did not have nice things to say about her former boss, Andy Cohen.

Andy Cohen treated me like a dog. He was, like, one of the worst bosses I ever had,” Kathy told People when asked about him. “And also, you know, the guy…he decides the entire slate at Bravo, and yet he gave himself a talk show [Watch What Happens Live] that magically gets renewed every year! So you know, I had a talk show at Bravo for two years that got cancelled. And I thought yea..it’s sort of competition for Andy.”

Kathy concluded her statement with, “He has not been very kind.”

Kathy‘s association with Bravo goes way back. She starred in her reality show, My Life on the D-List from 2005 to 2010, and then hosted her talk show on the network from 2012 until 2013.

This is not the first time Andy Cohen or Kathy Griffin have spoken about each other in the press.

Kathy Griffin's Concert Movie Will Finally Be Released in Theaters

Kathy Griffin‘s concert movie A Hell of a Story is finally going to be released in theaters!

The comedian has been open about having a difficult time finding distribution for the film and now Brainstorm Media has bought the rights for a special theatrical event this summer.

The movie will be released in U.S. theaters for just one night only, July 31, and screenings will feature a live Q&A with Kathy after the film ends.

“I am so excited to be announcing my first-ever theatrical release,” Kathy told Variety in a statement. “I’m honored to be given the opportunity to showcase my comedy and the raw behind-the-scenes-footage of the last two years. The film pulls back the curtain for a gritty, unapologetic look at this era of cultural chaos and Trumpism. You’re going to hear things in this film you’ve never heard before—and it’s funny as hell.”

Kathys movie takes place at the end of her Laugh Your Head Off tour and she opens up in the film about that infamous Trump photograph that led to her being blacklisted by Hollywood.
