New 'Justice League' Teasers Feature Batman & Aquaman!

The full trailer for the Justice League will be coming in a couple of days, but until then the studio is releasing some quick teasers centering on the characters!

First up are two teasers that give us a peek at Batman (Ben Affleck) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa).

The teasers are all titled “Unite the League” and reveal a glimpse of the upcoming movie based on characters from the DC Comics world.

Here is the film’s official synopsis: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes�”Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash�”it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

'Aquaman' Release Pushed Back, Takes 'Avatar 2' Date

Jason Momoa‘s upcoming Aquaman movie has been pushed back two months.

The film was originally going to be released on October 5, 2018, but now it will get a holiday release on December 21, 2018. The date was originally supposed to be the release date for Avatar 2, but director James Cameron recently confirmed that the movie will not be ready by then.

Jason will appear as Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League movie, scheduled for release this November.

Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, and Patrick Wilson also will star in the standalone Aquaman film.

Nicole Kidman & Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Talks to Join 'Aquaman'

Nicole Kidman is in talks to join the DC Cinematic Universe with a role in the upcoming movie Aquaman!

The Oscar-winning actress is in talks to play the mother of the the title character, played by Jason Momoa, according to THR.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, best known for his work on Netflix’s The Get Down, is in talks to play the villain Black Manta.

Jason is already locked in to star in the Warner Bros. film alongside Amber Heard as his love interest Mera, Patrick Wilson as his villainous half-brother Orm, and Willem Dafoe as his advisor, scientist Dr. Vulko.

Henry Cavill & Dwyane Johnson Tease a Superman/Black Adam Movie on Christmas

It looks like a movie starring Henry Cavill and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as characters from the DC Comics library is a possibility!

The guys both put up the same photo on their social media accounts on Christmas Day teasing a possible collaboration for their characters Superman and Black Adam.

Henry of course has played Superman in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the upcoming Justice League. Dwayne is set to play Black Adam in an upcoming Shazam movie.

Dwayne posted the same photo with a nearly identical caption.

Will Smith Wants to Return for Harley Quinn Spinoff 'Gotham City Sirens'

Will Smith is dying to work with Margot Robbie again!

The 48-year-old Collateral Beauty actor recently told MTV that he wants to join Margot again in the upcoming Harley Quinn spinoff Gotham City Sirens.

Over the summer, Will and Margot starred in the film Suicide Squad and it was recently released that Margot‘s Harley Quinn character would be getting a spinoff movie of her own.

Will told MTV that he wants his character Deadshot to join Harley Quinn on the big screen again.

“I’d definitely love to be in it. I love Margot Robbie. I would do like, anything she wants to do,” Will said.

Margot Robbie to Play Harley Quinn Again in 'Gotham City Sirens'

Margot Robbie is officially going to play Harley Quinn again in the upcoming movie Gotham City Sirens, which will be directed by David Ayer.

The 26-year-old actress is teaming up with David again after working together on this summer’s hit film Suicide Squad.

Gotham City Sirens will follow some of the top female villains in the DC Comics franchise and other villainesses featured in the comic book series included Catwoman and Poison Ivy, according to THR.

Margot was the clear stand-out of the Suicide Squad movie, which grossed over $745 million at the worldwide box office this summer.

Patrick Wilson Joins 'Aquaman' Movie as Villain ORM

Patrick Wilson will be playing ORM, the evil-half brother of Aquaman, in the upcoming standalone movie based on the DC Comics superhero!

The 43-year-old actor will be playing the villain in the film and the rivalry between Aquaman and ORM, known as Ocean Master, is often compared to Marvel’s Thor and Loki, according to Deadline.

A synopsis for the upcoming Aquaman movie has not yet been released, but we do know that the film will be released on October 5, 2018 and that Amber Heard will appear in it as Mera.
