When it comes to Harry Potter, Margot Robbie is a “massive nerd”!

While making an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (January 31) alongside Queen & Slim stars Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, the 29-year-old Birds of Prey star showed off how much of a Harry Potter nerd she is.

“When it comes to Harry Potter, I’m a massive massive nerd,” Margot admitted as host Graham Norton pulled up a picture of her reading a Harry Potter book as a child.

“Do you know what’s particularly pathetic about this picture… a couple things really. Number oneL It’s my birthday, that’s how I chose to spend my birthday,” Margot explained. “Number two: I’m drinking tea. Number three: I’m wearing glasses even though I don’t even need glasses. I lied to the optometrist because I wanted to have glasses like Harry Potter.”

Margot also revealed that her husband Tom Ackerley has a connection tot he Harry Potter films: “Fun fact, my husband was in the Harry Potter movies,” she said. “He was an extra. When he was a little kid he was one of the Slytherin kid extras.”

Margot was later joined on the couch by Jim Carrey and musical guest Lewis Capaldi.

Daniel Kaluuya happily strikes a pose alongside his co-star Jodie Turner-Smith while attending the UK premiere of their film Queen & Slim held at the Rich Mix Cinema on Monday (January 28) in London, England.

The 30-year-old actor and the 33-year-old pregnant actress were joined at the event by the film’s writer-director Melina Matsoukas, as well as both Kaya Scodelario and Little Mix‘s Leigh-Anne Pinnock as they stepped out to show their support.

Queen & Slim is set to hit theaters in the UK on Friday, January 31st.

Bella Hadid bares her midriff while wearing a crop top at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall-Winter 2020 fashion show on Thursday (January 16) in Paris, France.

The 23-year-old model was joined by a lot of stars at the event, like Queen & Slim‘s Daniel Kaluuya, Moonlight‘s Ashton Sanders, and music stars J Balvin, Tyga, Diplo, and Quavo and Takeoff from Migos.

Bella was seen wearing a gray parachute jacket and matching cargo pants later in the day while attending the Tatras x Riot Hill fashion show.

Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith hit the red carpet for the premiere of Queen & Slim on Thursday night (November 14) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

The 30-year-old Oscar-nominated actor looked handsome in a white suit while the 33-year-old actress wowed in a periwinkle-colored gown for the premiere held during the 2019 AFI Fest.

Also in attendance at the premiere was director Melina Matsoukas and screenplay writer Lena Waithe.

Queen & Slim will be out in theaters on November 27 – check out the trailer here!

Daniel Kaluuya keeps it cool as he poses for a photograph at a special screening of his anticipated film Queen & Slim presented by Universal Pictures on Tuesday night (November 12) at Soho House in New York City.

That same evening, the 30-year-old Oscar-nominated actor hit up The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss the film, which is directed by Melina Matsoukas from a script by Lena Waithe.

Host Stephen asked Daniel about his impression of Ohio before taking the part of Slim – a character who ends up shooting a cop in self-defense on the same night as a Tinder date with Queen (Jodie Turner-Smith) – and he detailed what he learned from a regional Costco team for the role.

“Slim works at Costco so I found the Costco that he was at… I just kinda hung out and I just spoke to the staff and they just showed me a couple hoods and areas that Slim would be from,” Daniel said after some playful back-and-forth about the correct American pronunciation of the shopping outlet. “I found that if you work at Costco on a Sunday, you earn 38 dollars an hour. So I was like, Oh, he thinks he’s a catch so he’s going into this date thinking ‘I’m a great catch.’ Like, of course you’re gonna be on Tinder. [He's a] Sunday Costco guy! It really helped me helm in his mentality for the scene.”

The Queen & Slim co-stars were joined at the event by the film’s writer Lena Waithe and director Melina Matsoukas.

The Governors Awards, which is organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, is the official start of awards season.

Also in attendance were stars from the movie Waves – Taylor Russell, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Renee Elise Golsdsberry.

Daniel Kaluuya is partnering with Mattel films for a new movie – and it’s about Barney the dinosaur!

The Get Out actor’s 59% production company and Valparaiso Pictures will produce a new live-action film about the popular purple dino, according to a press release from Mattel Films on Friday (October 18).

“Barney was a ubiquitous figure in many of our childhoods, then he disappeared into the shadows, left misunderstood. We’re excited to explore this compelling modern-day hero and see if his message of ‘I love you, you love me’ can stand the test of time,” he said.

“Working with Daniel Kaluuya will enable us to take a completely new approach to Barney that will surprise audiences and subvert expectations. The project will speak to the nostalgia of the brand in a way that will resonate with adults, while entertaining today’s kids,” said Mattel exec Robbie Brenner.
