Charlize Theron celebrated National Daughters day with one of the rarest pictures of her daughters, Jackson and August.

The 45-year-old Oscar winner shared an image of her with her two daughters, who she adopted in 2012 and 2015.

“My heart belongs to these two beautiful powerhouses,” Charlize captioned the photo. “I will never be the same. Happy #NationalDaughtersDay ❤️”

The throwback photo sees the happy family embracing and smiling at the camera, with a unicorn birthday cake in front of them. Charlize also has her darker hair in the image.

Just last month, Charlize shared another rare photo of her daughters, while virtually celebrating her birthday.

Earlier this year, Charlize opened up about the funny thing one of her daughters said about her dating life.

Charlize Theron hasn’t been in a relationship in years and she’s opening up to Drew Barrymore about why she’s not looking for one right now.

The Oscar-winning actress chatted about her dating life during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, which aired on Thursday (September 17).

“It is strange for people to, kind of, wrap their heads around it,” Charlize said. “I’ve been on a few dates, but I haven’t dated anybody for over five years.”

Drew also said that she has been on a break from dating.

Charlize added, “I feel like I’m in a place in my life where you’ve got to come with a lot of game, not the kind of game that we think of, the kind of game that’s like my life is really good so you better be able to bring that and maybe better because I just won’t accept anything less. And my life with my children and with my incredible adopted family that I have around me I don’t long for that much.”

“I can honestly say this on my life, I don’t feel lonely. Once I had my children, it’s not that it replaces something or makes you less interested in something else,” Charlize said. “I’m still firing on all cylinders. I think your priorities are in a place that is of high demand because it’s a lot of work to be a parent. Part of that is at the end of the day I get in bed and I go I wouldn’t want this day to be anything different.”

Charlize was most recently linked to Sean Penn and she recently cleared up a rumor about their relationship.

“My first virtual birthday party…I think my mom fell asleep 5 min in,” Charlize captioned. “Thank you to everyone for the bday wishes! 2020 has been a rough one but today was a bright spot for sure.”

Charlize has been taking a lot about her daughters in interviews lately, and recently shared why one of them insisted she needed a boyfriend.

Charlize Theron steps out for the Mad Max: Fury Road drive-In Screening event held at The Grove in Los Angeles on Friday (July 31).

The 44-year-old actress was joined by co-star Nicholas Hoult and host Aisha Tyler for the Q&A portion of the event, which benefited the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) champions young people living in Africa by investing in organizations that prioritize and advance the health, education, and community support of these youth.

Ahead of the special event, Charlize shared a video on social media of shaving her head to get into character as Furiosa for the film.

Charlize Theron doesn’t need a man to be happy!

During an interview on Diane Von Furstenberg’s Spotify podcast, “InCharge with DVF,” the 44-year-old actress said that she is currently dating herself.

“Two days ago I was in the car with my two girls and my little one said something like ‘You need a boyfriend!’” Charlize shared. “And I said, ‘Actually, I don’t. Right now, I feel really good,’ and she’s like, ‘You know what, mom? You just need a boyfriend, you need a relationship!’”

Charlize, who is mom to daughters Jackson, 8, and August, 4, then told her youngest that she is dating herself.

“She had this look in her eye like she had never really contemplated that that was even a possibility,” Charlize said. “Her mind was blown. But, I know that was the day that she realized there’s a different possibility.”

Back in September, Charlize said she was in a new relationship with these two people!

It feels like a no-brainer at this point that Netflix will be making a sequel to Charlize Theron‘s movie The Old Guard, but fans might be waiting a while for it to happen.

The action film debuted earlier this month and Netflix already revealed that it will become one of the most-watched films ever on the streaming service. (Find out where it ranks on the Top 10!)

Deadline is now reporting that “fans of the first film shouldn’t expect another installment any time soon.” This is all because of Charlize‘s busy schedule.

Charlize is scheduled to film a sequel to her 2017 movie Atomic Blonde and she has avoided doing action-heavy films back-to-back in the past because of the physical training involved.

The outlet also reports that contract negotiations with Charlize might be complicated as big stars will seek out large salaries from the streaming service. This is because there are no back-end profits on Netflix like there are on theatrical releases.

The event, will be held at The Grove in in Los Angeles will be hosted by the 44-year-old actress, who stars as Furiosa in the movie.

The screening will also benefit her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), which champions young people living in Africa by investing in organizations that prioritize and advance the health, education, and community support of these youth.

The Mad Max: Fury Road screening will be held on Friday, July 31st at 7:30 pm and the socially-distanced screening will be hosted on Level 8 of the parking structure.

Ahead of the event, Charlize and Nicholas Hoult will be on hand for a special Q&A.

Earlier this year, Charlize‘s foundation actually partnered with the Entertainment Industry Foundation and CARE to launch the Together for Her campaign to help against gender-based violence during COVID-19.
