Elle Fanning keeps it chic, cute and sophisticated while striking a pose at Gucci‘s 2019 Met Gala After Party at the Hunter College Sportsplex on Monday night (May 6) in New York City.

The 21-year-old Teen Spirit star was joined at the after party bash by Grown-ish‘s Yara Shahidi, Ozark‘s Julia Garner, Cole Sprouse and girlfriend Lili Reinhart, and The Leftovers actress Margaret Qualley.

Elle also wore a custom Miu Miu outfit on the red carpet of the 2019 Met Gala alongside her boyfriend Max Minghella.

The 18-year-old grown-ish actress stunned on the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

This makes Yara‘s second Met Gala. She made her debut in Chanel at last year’s event.

The Costume Institute Gala Benefit this year is celebrating the opening of the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” exhibition and is hosted by Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Serena Williams, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The cast of Little was in attendance to talk about bringing their black girl magic on the big screen in the upcoming comedy.

If you didn’t know, Marsai is now the youngest Executive Producer on a major Hollywood motion picture in history for executive producing Little.

Also in attendance was Marsai‘s black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi, who joined Noor Tagouri in a conversation about fighting the fear of being yourself.

Gigi Hadid flashes a grin while posing with sister Bella Hadid at Variety’s Power Of Women: New York event!

The models, ages 23 and 22, respectively, held hands at the event, presented by Lifetime, at Cipriani Midtown on Friday (April 5) in New York City.

Bella and Gigi rocked similar ensembles – Bella wore a brown top with matching pants, jacket, and see-through shoes, accessorizing with round silver earrings and styling her hair in an updo.

Gigi donned a light blue jumpsuit with a cape, matching snakeskin-print heels, and hoop earrings, styling her hair in a sleek ponytail.

They were also joined by Grown‑ish actress Yara Shahidi, who sported a striped suit and was all smiles while hanging out with Empire star and honoree Taraji P. Henson.

Yara, on how her Grown-ish character, Zoey Johnson, has impacted her life: “I can tell you that I give my friends the best advice, because my character gets into so much trouble. I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, we tried the whole love-triangle thing. Doesn’t work.’”

Yara, on her Grown-ish castmates/onscreen love interests, Luka Sabbat and Trevor Jackson: “It’s really funny. I forgot what story I was telling them—it wasn’t anything bad, but somebody wasn’t being the nicest to me, and I think they both offered to fight them on my behalf. I said no—I’m a pacifist! But I appreciated the gesture.”

Charles, on being cast in a lead role as an Asian American: “Being an Asian-American lead for a studio film—it almost seems like it’s not real for me, you know? Growing up, I never saw anybody who looked like me, really. So it’s very emotional for me… [After seeing Crazy Rich Asians] I cried seven times. It was just so emotional. Everyone was of Asian descent, and I was like, Wow. And I’m thinking about the movie I did with Yara, and Yara is Iranian and Black. It’s very surreal.”

Charles, on falling in love: “I think you can fall in love in the snap of a finger, you know? It all started when I was 13 or 14. Every girl I was with, I thought I was gonna marry…my head’s in the clouds. I’m a dreamer. I’m a hopeless romantic!”

Here’s what the 19-year-old Black‑ish actress had to share with the mag:

On politics after Oprah Winfrey said in a Q&A that she hoped to be around when Yara becomes President of the United States: “I realized pretty early on that all my interests come just from a general investment in human beings. And so that makes it really easy because everything feels very connected in a way that I’m really grateful for – the ability to have my day job as an actor, while also connect deeply with the work that I want to do in terms of voting, registration and civil engagement for my generation.”

On being nominated as the voice of a generation: “A defining mark has been this desire to be undefined and to have some autonomy over self in terms of saying, ‘This is how I identify. And I should have the right to live freely.’ Even just looking at my friendship groups, I see the spectrum of sexuality, gender identity, immigration status, college status and being the first person in the family to go to college, all those things. I feel like there’s a variation now in a way that’s really lovely, but in a way that you can’t deny. And as that expands with our generation, there will come a very natural point at which you can look at the world and say, ‘That’s why I believe all these other people deserve similar rights.’”

On growing up with – and her experiences of having – multiple identities: “It’s a unique perspective, being black and Iranian, and coming from two persecuted peoples. On one side of my family is the list of people who can’t enter the US from certain countries [referring to President Trump’s so-called Muslim ban], and on the other side are those who are familiar with what it’s like being black in America.”
