William Shatner has filed for divorce from his wife Elizabeth after 18 years of marriage.

TMZ is reporting that a pre-nuptial agreement is in place between the 88-year-old actor and his 61-year-old ex, so the divorce should go smoothly. Neither will get spousal support, per the terms of the pre-nup. The site also reports that the split could soon be finalized by a judge.

The couple got married in 2001 and have no kids.

It has been a while since we’ve heard from William, and it’s been about a year since he publicly criticized this viral movement.

William Shatner Criticizes #MeToo Movement, Calls it 'Hysterical'

William Shatner is calling out the #MeToo Movement.

The 87-year-old actor shared in a new interview with DailyMailTV that he feels as though the movement is taking things out of “context.”

“But if you look back at things that were written and said 20, 30 years ago, it’s a different context,” William shared. “And you’ve got to judge it by that context. Rape and pillage, absolutely not, those are crimes against humanity. But saying ‘would you make love with me?’ and the opposing party says yes or no, I can’t fathom what’s wrong with that.”

William continued: “It’s like saying would you have dinner, would you like to write a song with me, would you do an interview? I’m not insulted by you asking me to do an interview. Maybe it’s my mindset based on the years I’ve lived, but I’m trying to be fair and I don’t see the problem.”

He did praise #MeToo for exposing hidden harassment in the entertainment business, but criticized the “firebrands” who are leading the movement and said they need to let “business-like people” take over.

“I’ve got three daughters and I’m glad that they have more opportunity,” William said. “At the same time, it’s become hysterical. It’s a whole new culture. The whole business has changed. The whole man-woman relationship has changed to a severe degree.”

After the interview went live, William started getting criticized on social media and he refused to back down from his comments.

Celebs React to United Airlines Not Allowing Leggings

United Airlines is getting a ton of backlash after allegedly not allowing two girls to fly because they were wearing leggings.

Passenger Shannon Watts tweeted about the incident, saying that the young passengers – one of whom was reportedly 10 years old – were forced to change before boarding a flight from Denver to Minneapolis.

“A @united gate agent isn’t letting girls in leggings get on flight from Denver to Minneapolis because spandex is not allowed?” she tweeted. “She’s forcing them to change or put dresses on over leggings or they can’t board. Since when does @united police women’s clothing?”

The airline later tweeted, “The passengers this morning were United pass riders who were not in compliance with our dress code policy for company benefit travel.”

Meanwhile, celebs like Chrissy Teigen and Patricia Arquette made their opinions on the matter known.

“I have flown united before with literally no pants on. Just a top as a dress. Next time I will wear only jeans and a scarf,” Chrissy tweeted.

Patricia wrote, “The highest standard of any culture corporate or not is to allow children to be children and to dress in accordance.”

She later added, “Turns out United bans leggings, torn jeans, and shorter shorts for free employee pass tickets. Still @united should update policy.”

William Shatner wrote, “😱’🏻I’m going to start wearing leggings! Is that against the rules? ”#outdatedfashion #outdatedrules”
