Tyrese Gibson is speaking out in a lengthy Instagram message after he was granted 50/50 custody of his 10-year-old daughter Shayla.

The 38-year-old Fast & Furious actor will share custody with his ex-wife Norma Mitchell Gibson.

“Today is not a win for me, it is a win for our daughter, Shayla. Who unfortunately has been exposed to tension, private and public embarrassment and growing up and feeling torn between 2 parents who are no longer married…… It is a win because she gets to spend equal time with both of her parents in joint legal custody while she continues to grow in a happy and healthy environment – this has always been and will continue to be my priority,” Tyrese said.

Tyrese also added a message for other fathers who encouraged him throughout the custody battle.

“I hope all of the fathers feel encouraged by this cause if was the real “Fathers” out there who reached out and kept me encouraged along the way and for that I can’t thank you enough,” he wrote.

UPDATE: According to TMZ sources, Will and Jada did not donate any money to Tyrese.

Tyrese Gibson‘s money issues are being solved thanks to a generous donation from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The 38-year-old entertainer is in the middle of a custody battle with his ex-wife Norma, who accused him of assault. He was investigated by the Department of Child and Family Services, but no criminal charges against him will be pressed.

“When we show UP for each-other there’s nothing that can’t be done I️ repeat nothing…… My wife kept the news away from me cause I’ve been on with lawyers all day but our family and our sister Jada-Pinkett Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million dollars to help keep us afloat,” Tyrese wrote in an Instagram post over the weekend.

Tyrese has been very public about the custody battle, but it seems he will be more silent about it now thanks to a request from the Smiths.

“You’ve guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid ! will listen….. The Smiths’s and their whole family has always shown up for The Gibson’s Uncle Will you’re an uncle for real.” he wrote.

Tyrese Gibson has announced that if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is involved in another Fast and the Furious film, he will be quitting.

The 38-year-old actor has slammed The Rock in the past – just a few weeks ago, he called out The Rock as the reason production was delayed. Fast 9 was delayed for a whole year, and Tyrese allegedly blames his co-star.

“I’m sorry to announce that if Dewayne is in Fast9 there will no more Roman Peirce – You mess with family and my daughters survival I mess with yours……… close your eyes dude you’re a ‘Clown’…… #CandyAssBitchMade All my real one…. Tyrese Gibson is pointing the finger at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the Fast & Furious film getting delayed for his own spinoff film.

The 38-year-old actor – who’s starred in four Fast & Furious films – took to Instagram to blame the 45-year-old Baywatch actor for getting the ninth installment pushed back for his and Jason Statham‘s spinoff film.

“#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU – And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post – Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah….. it’s about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I’m just a passionate film critic,” Tyrese wrote.

Tyrese also shared another post with the original cast of Fast & Furious – including Paul Walker and Vin Diesel – to blame Dwayne for “breaking up the family.”

“You guys are just amazing you really broke up the #FastFamily I tried to warn you guys… You thought I was hating…… I was simply fighting to keep the family together what makes us great is when you see us all TOGETHER we don’t fly solo,” Tyrese wrote.

Dwayne hasn’t responded to Tyrese‘s comments yet.
