The trailer for the action-packed thriller Black and Blue, starring Naomie Harris and Tyrese Gibson, has been released!

The movie is about a rookie cop (Harris) who inadvertently captures the murder of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing that the murder was committed by corrupt cops, she teams up with the one person from her community who is willing to help her (Gibson) as she tries to escape both the criminals out for revenge and the police who are desperate to destroy the incriminating footage.

Also starring in the movie, in theaters October 25, are Frank Grillo, Reid Scott, Mike Colter, Nafessa Williams, and James Moses Black.

Black and Blue was directed by Deon Tayler, who directed the recent movie The Intruder.

The first photos of the upcoming action/thriller Black and Blue have been released!

The Deon Taylor-directed film also features Mike Colter, Frank Grillo, Reid Scott, Beau Knapp, and Nafessa Williams and will hit theaters on October 25th.

F. Gary Gray had tons of support on hand at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony!

The 49-year-old director was joined by pals Jamie Foxx, Vin Diesel, Ice Cube, and Tyrese Gibson at the unveiling of his star on Tuesday afternoon (May 28) in Hollywood, Calif.

“This is an incredible, incredible honor. It really truly is,” Gary said during the ceremony. “Wow. To place this star even near, let alone alongside some of the greatest artists of all time — I really, really, truly am honored to be mentioned alongside you guys. Wow.”

Gary has directed box office hits like The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton, and Law Abiding Citizen.

His upcoming movie Men in Black: International hits theaters on June 14.

We’ve got a new photo from the set of Morbius!

Tyrese Gibson posted a picture with director Daniel Espinosa on Instagram on Thursday (May 2).

“On set in London, UK standing next to a man who is brilliant beyond…… Our director Daniel Espinosa!! Over our first private dinner we both talked about and was singing the praises of a real one… Denzel Washington DanieL directed Denzel in the film SAFE HOUSE!!!! The upcoming movie, a Spider-Man Universe spinoff starring Jared Leto, is based on Morbius the Living Vampire. Dr. Michael Morbius (Leto) is a biochemist who attempts to cure a fatal blood disease by injecting himself with a treatment serum derived from bats. In becoming Morbius, he has all the qualities of a vampire — including a taste for human blood.

The movie is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2020.

Tyrese Gibson will be taking on R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass in an upcoming biopic!

The 40-year-old actor and singer has signed on to play the singer in the Warner Bros. film with Little Marvin writing the screenplay and Donald De Line, Lee Daniels, and Tyrese producing. Teddy‘s widow Joan Pendergrass, is on board as an executive producer.

“I am honored to take this journey… This is the role that I feel I was born to play,” Tyrese said in a statement. “Teddy Pendergrass embraced me and before he passed, put the responsibility on my shoulders to tell his story. Being here in this time and in this space and moment with Lee Daniels, Donald De Line, Little Marvin, and Warner Bros. is an answered prayer. Teddy, I just hope we make you, your wife and family proud… Here we go!”

Teddy rose to fame in the early 70s as the lead singer of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes before skyrocketing to stardom as a solo artist over the next two decades. Teddy passed away in 2010 from respiratory failure at the age of 59.

The film doesn’t have a title, director, or release date yet.

Tyrese Gibson and his wife Samantha just welcomed a new addition!

The cute couple shared that their baby girl Soraya Lee was born on Monday (October 1).

Tyrese took to his Instagram to pen a sweet message dedicated to his daughter.

“Father God we love you for delivering on your promise princess Soraya Lee Gibson is here…… 8 pounds 6 Oz our lives just changed forever……. #PrincessGibson #ShaylasLittleSister my wife is the real champion 30 hours of labor I witnessed first hand the strength of a woman….. Thank you Jesus we are so humbled by your grace and love and favor…. #Amen,” Tyrese wrote.

Tyrese is already dad to 11-year-old Shayla from a previous marriage.

Congratulations to Tyrese and Samantha!

Tyrese and his wife Samantha are expecting a baby girl!

“Both of our love and energy and magic and families are bonded forever because we’re going to have this child,” the 39-year-old actor told People. “It’s unbelievable.”

“There was no greater reaction than her mom’s reaction,” Tyrese said of Samantha‘s mom. “Samantha is her only daughter, and this has been prayers for years and years, for her to get married and find the right one and start a family.”

“We were able to conceive at the right time, I believe,” Samantha added. “There was a lot that happened last year — everyone is aware of that — and so to have the opportunity to … really start a new chapter in the way that has happened, I just look to God and I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe that you would plan it this way and you do it so perfectly.’“

Congrats to the happy couple, who have been married for over a year. Tyrese has a daughter, Shayla, 10, from a previous relationship.
