Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried have a chat in the new, black and white trailer for Netflix’s Mank.

Set in 1930s Hollywood, the film is a shown “through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane for Orson Welles.”

The film stars a lot of big Hollywood names including Lily Collins as Rita Alexander, Tom Burke as Welles, Charles Dance as William Randolph Hearst, and Tom Pelphrey as Joseph Mankiewicz.

Mank is set to debut on Netfix on December 4 and a lot of fans are already saying the film is Oscar-worthy.

Here’s the logline for the film: 1930s Hollywood is re-evaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane for Orson Welles.

In Mank, Gary Oldman portrays Mankiewicz, Lily Collins is Rita Alexander, Amanda Seyfried plays Marion Davies, Tom Burke is Welles, Charles Dance is William Randolph Hearst, and Tom Pelphrey is Joseph Mankiewicz. Be sure to check out the trailer and catch Mank when it’s finally released!

The movie is considered an awards season contender and will be released on Netflix and in certain theaters on December 4th, 2020.

The 34-year-old Blindspot actress and the 35-year-old Iron Fist star happily posed for photographs together while attending Entertainment Weekly & People’s New York 2018 Upfronts Celebration held at The Bowery Hotel on Monday (May 14) in New York City.

That same evening, Tom took to his Instagram to share an adorable photo of him and Jaimie sharing a smooch at the event.

It was recently announced that Jaimie‘s hit NBC show Blindspot will indeed be back for a fourth season.

Rosario Dawson and Jessica Henwick pose together at the premiere of their new Netflix show Marvel’s Iron Fist on Wednesday night (March 15) in New York City.

The actresses were joined at the premiere by their co-stars Finn Jones, Jessica Stroup, and Tom Pelphrey.

Rosario recently partnered with founder of Waves for Water Jon Rose to help bring access to clean, drinking water to people in need, which was documented in the new film Waves for Water.

Finn Jones takes the stage for the Netflix panel of Marvel’s Iron Fist held during 2016 New York Comic-Con on Saturday (October 8) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Henwick, and David Wenham, as well as newest cast addition Rosario Dawson, who has appeared in Daredevil and Luke Cage already.

Also in attendance were Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, Luke Cage star Mike Colter, Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox, and The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal.

Sigourney Weaver joined them on stage too, as she was just announced to appear in The Defenders, in which Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up.
