Tom Hiddleston Addresses Those James Bond Rumors

There has been much speculation about just which actor will take over the coveted role of James Bond following Daniel Craig‘s final movie, No Time To Die, which debuts later this year.

Many names have been pitched to take on the role including Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page, Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston.

Tom recently opened up about the prospect of playing the MI-6 secret agent with Empire magazine and shared that everything he would ultimately say would be turned into a clue.

“What can I say that you don’t already know?” he mused. “It’s interesting in itself that I’ve suddenly become very aware of what I’m saying, is it not? Because there’s something about what I’m saying that becomes the story. Not for you, but for the world outside. Whatever I say, I’ve found, generated more questions.”

Tom Hiddleston Reveals Why He Stepped Back From On-Screen Roles In The Past Few Years

Tom Hiddleston is opening up about why he stepped away from on screen roles in a new interview.

The 40-year-old actor chatted with Empire magazine and talked about his decision to seek out stage roles and not take as many on-screen parts.

“A few things crossed my path and I thought carefully about them, but they didn’t feel quite right, so I didn’t do them,” Tom shared about the roles that did come his way.

He added that he’d been “playing so many different people in so many different parts of the world, and it’s very important to distinguish what’s real in one’s own life, and look after those things. Because if you don’t look after them, they can be lost, or they can be marginalized, and then you come home one day and they’re not there anymore.”

Tom is currently filming The Essex Serpent with Claire Danes in England, and fans can watch him in Loki, which comes to Disney+ on June 11.
