USA Network has renewed The Sinner for a fourth season.

THR reports that the popular crime show, which is executive produced by Jessica Biel, will see the return of Bill Pullman as Detective Harry Ambrose.

Season four will center on Ambrose as he takes on a brand new “whydunit” case.

Derek Simonds will also be back as showrunner with Michelle Purple and Charlie Gogolak producing as well.

“The Sinner has struck a chord with audiences with its signature ‘whydunit’’style,” Chris McCumber, president of USA Network and Syfy, shared in a statement. “In season four, we’re excited to dig even deeper into the psyche of Bill Pullman’s beloved Detective Ambrose character, while introducing our audience to a compelling, completely new mystery.”

If you missed it, Bill just recently revealed a little known fact about one of his most famous movies, Independence Day.

While Justin didn’t walk the red carpet with Jessica at the beginning of the night, they happily posed for pictures at the after party.

This marks the first time the couple has appeared together at a public event since the controversy that stirred a couple months ago when Justin was spotted holding hands with Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright while in New Orleans.

Jessica starred in the first season of The Sinner and she remains involved with the series as an executive producer. Season three, starring Matt Bomer, premieres this week!

The 37-year-old actress, who starred in the first season of the USA series, is returning as an executive producer on the third season.

Jessica joined the show’s returning star Bill Pullman and new leading man Matt Bomer at the premiere. Other cast members in attendance included Chris Messina, Jessica Hecht, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Eddie Martinez.

The third season of the show will following Detective Ambrose’s investigation of a fatal car accident in Upstate New York. The eight-episode season will premiere on February 6.

Along with the premiere date announcement on Thursday (December 12), the show also unveiled a brand new trailer.

Here’s a synopsis, via TVLine: “Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York. He in turn uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into ‘the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.’ Matt Bomer plays Jamie, the upstanding local resident at the center of it all, while Chris Messina plays Nick, a college friend who pays Jamie a most unwelcome visit.

Matt Bomer stars in the new trailer for The Sinner Season 3.

The third season of the USA Network series, executive produced by Jessica Biel, is set to premiere in 2020.

In the third season, Matt stars in a lead role with Bill Pullman, who is reprising his role as Detective Harry Ambrose from the first two seasons.

The third season follows Detective Harry Ambrose as “he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York. He soon uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.”

Matt plays Jamie, a schoolteacher and local family man who looks to Ambrose for support in the wake of the accident.

Matt Bomer stars in the upcoming Season 3 of The Sinner!

USA Network revealed a new promo for the upcoming third season on Wednesday (September 18), which is set to debut sometime in 2020.

The third season of the series will follow Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) as he investigates a tragic car accident in upstate New York. As the case unfolds, Ambrose uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.

Matt plays Jamie, an upstanding local resident and expectant father who looks to Ambrose for support in the wake of the accident.

Chris Messina is joining the cast of The Sinner!

The 44-year-old The Mindy Project actor will appear in the third season of the USA series, Variety reported on Thursday (August 1).

Chris will play a character named Nick Haas, a college friend to Jamie (Matt Bomer).
