Sheryl Underwood is welcoming back fans of The Talk after a tumultuous month long hiatus.

In a new preview clip, the comedian and host addressed the show’s audience from backstage and provided an update about what fans can expect from the upcoming episode.

“It’s time for an episode of The Talk that will be unlike any other we’ve had before,” Sheryl began.

“As you may know, during our break, Sharon decided to leave The Talk. We need to process the events of that day and what happened since, so we can get to the healing,” she continued.

Sheryl explained that she will join fellow co-hosts Elaine Welteroth, Amanda Kloots and Carrie Ann Inaba to “honestly discuss what occurred.”

Sharon‘s departure from the show followed her comments about British TV presenter Piers Morgan, who made several controversial remarks about Meghan Markle.

Allegations of Sharon‘s inappropriate workplace conduct also emerged, with former hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete accusing her of using racist and homophobic language behind the scenes.

Sheryl claimed that Sharon never reached out after their heated argument during the show, which Sharon has disputed.

Sharon Osbourne has receipts to prove that she has reached out to Sheryl Underwood, despite Sheryl claiming she had yet to receive anything from the former The Talk co-host.

In the most recent episode of her podcast, Sheryl claimed that she hadn’t spoken to Sharon and revealed that Sharon had not reached out, and went through her phone messages as evidence.

Just an hour later after the podcast episode premiered, Sharon produced proof that she did reach out through text.

Sheryl Underwood is speaking out following Sharon Osbourne‘s exit from The Talk.

Sharon left the daytime talk show after her on air argument with Sheryl over the comments British broadcaster Piers Morgan had made about Meghan Markle, just shortly after her interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in February.

After taking a few weeks hiatus, CBS revealed that Sharon would be leaving the show after 11 years.

It was revealed that Sharon Osbourne would be exiting The Talk after over a decade as co-host amid a slew of controversies.

Sharon‘s exit came after weeks of the show being on “hiatus” to address racism in the workplace, which was highlighted after she got into a heated argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood about her support of Piers Morgan regarding his remarks about the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

She was then accused of racism by her former co-host.

Now, a source is revealing the huge amount of money she could walk away with.

“Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show],” the source told Page Six.

“Sharon will talk when she is ready,” the source said, adding she’s allowed to speak about what happ-ened. “She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”

A CBS spokesperson responded to the report by saying, “False, inaccurate or untrue. Take your pick.”

Sharon Osbourne has left The Talk.

The 68-year-old entertainer will not be on the host panel when the show returns on April 12.

Sharon‘s exit comes after weeks of the show being on “hiatus” to address racism in the workplace, which was highlighted after she got into a heated argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood about her support of Piers Morgan regarding his remarks about the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

“The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the host,” CBS shared in a statement.

It continued, “At the same time, we acknowledge the Network and Studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race.

“During this week’s hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew. Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers.”

Sharon was the last original host of The Talk. When it premiered in 2010 the show featured her with Leah Remini, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Holly Robinson Peete.

Leah and Holly were the latest hosts to speak out about Sharon‘s behavior.

Sharon has denied them.

The Talk will remain on hiatus through at least next week and no return date has been set, according to Deadline.

The show is currently on a production pause after the controversy involving Sharon Osbourne‘s comments about Piers Morgan and his accusations that Meghan Markle is a liar.

Sharon got into an argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood on air and after that, allegations against Osbourne have been made by some of the show’s former co-hosts.

The Talk was put on hiatus for two days and then the hiatus was extended through March 22. Now the return date is unclear while CBS investigates the heated exchange about race.

Sharon claims that she was blindsided by the producers of The Talk and says that CBS executives set her up.

Sharon Osbourne is continuing to deny allegations.

The 68-year-old The Talk co-host is accused by multiple unnamed sources of calling her former co-star Julie Chen “wonton” and “slanty eyes,” which she reacted to on Wednesday (March 17).

Sharon called the claims “crap, all crap,” in an interview first given to Daily Mail, repeating the racist language.

“Everyone’s got an opinion or a story like the wonton story. It’s like f–k off with your f–king wonton story. F–k off!”

“Of course, it’s a pile on. People want to add fuel to the fire and it comes with the territory and that’s fine,” she went on to say.

Sharon recently revealed where she stands with co-star and friend Sheryl Underwood as The Talk extended its hiatus.
