Dove Cameron gathers with her The Light In The Piazza co-stars after their press night performance at Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday (June 18) in London, England.

The 23-year-old actress joined Renee Fleming, Alex Jennings, and Rob Houchen in celebrating the musical at an after party following the performance.

Dove‘s boyfriend, Thomas Doherty, even came to support her.

“opening my dream show, playing Clara, my dream ingenue, with the worlds most incredible cast and production of people last night (even with my horrible chest cold!) will go down as one of the highlights of my entire life,” Dove shared on Instagram afterwards. “A night i’ve been dreaming of for over 15 years. feeling like melted sunshine today. thank you for all your never ending kindness and support 🌹 you all make my life what it is.”

Dove Cameron will be starring in the stage musical The Light in the Piazza in London next summer!

The 22-year-old actress will make her London stage debut alongside opera singer Renee Fleming in the musical, which was first produced on Broadway in 2005.

Renee told the Daily Mail that playing Margaret Johnson in the musical “was an opportunity [she] couldn’t resist.”

On Dove playing her daughter in the show, Renee said, “She’s blonde, she’s vivacious. She’s everything [composer Adam Guettel] was envisaging for the role.”

The production will run for just 20 performances at the Royal Festival Hall from June 14 until July 5.

The Light in the Piazza is one of Dove‘s favorite musicals and she has been tweeting about it for years!

Edie Falco and Tatiana Maslany stepped out to celebrate an inspiring new movie.

The actresses attended the premiere of The Price of Free on Thursday (November 2) at MOMA in New York City.

The event was hosted by Rachel Roy and Derek Blasberg and included director Derek Doneen and the film’s subject, Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi.

Other attendees included attendees Renee Fleming and Christian Coulson.

The Price of Free follows Kailash Satyarthi as he works to help countless children who are forced into slave labor due to rising global demands for cheap goods. The film documents his most challenging missions to date: finding Sonu, a young boy trafficked to Delhi for work who has been missing for eight months.

The film will be available on YouTube on November 27th.

Renee Fleming performs an emotional tribute to Senator John McCain at his funeral on Saturday (September 1) in Washington, DC.

The 59-year-old Broadway star sang one of the late senator’s favorite songs – “Danny Boy” – at his funeral.

While she was singing, John‘s wife Cindy broke down in tears and laid her head on son Jack McCain‘s shoulder.

John and Cindy were married for 38 years and share four children. The late senator lost his battle with brain cancer last Saturday, August 25.

During the funeral, John‘s daughter Meghan gave an powerful and emotional eulogy to her father.

The 35-year-old actress, who has been a favorite of Broadway fans for years, won her first award at the event. She picked up Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her work in Carousel.

During her speech, Lindsay brought up how she was encouraged to change her name when she started acting, but she’s grateful to work in a community that accepts diversity.

The revival of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, featuring the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” just opened on Broadway and it has received the New York Times‘ critic’s pick.

“With thoughtful and powerful performances by Mr. Henry and Ms. Mueller, the love story at the show’s center has never seemed quite as ill-starred or, at the same time, as sexy,” the review reads!
