Regina King is making her Saturday Night Live hosting debut!
The 50-year-old Oscar winner hosted the sketch comedy show for the first time on Saturday (February 13).
In one of the sketches, Regina poked some fun at the controversy surrounding Gorilla Glue after a woman sprayed the glue on her hair and had to have it surgically removed.
In the sketch, Regina and Kenan Thompson made a lawsuit ad for victims to tell their stories about how they were wronged by Gorilla Glue.
“We’ve all been there: you ran out of hair product and you use Gorilla Glue instead,” Regina began, while she had a chunk of her hair standing straight up because she used the glue.
“And it turned your beautiful mane into a hard candy shell….if this happened to you, you are not alone and you are not alone. Fact: as many as one people fall victim to using Gorilla Glue as a beauty product,” Regina continued, noting that victims “deserve compensation.”
SNL cast members then started sharing their testimonials on how they are victims of Gorilla Glue.
