Rachel Bilson is dishing on being a celebrity mom.

In a new episode of the Betches Moms podcast, the 39-year-old The O.C. actress revealed that six-year-old daughter Briar, whom she shares with ex Hayden Christensen, doesn’t really “how famous” are parents are.

“I think she knows that her mom — and her dad’s an actor too —” so she kind of knows that we are in that world,” Rachel shared. “But she’s not aware of that level. She definitely doesn’t know how famous her dad is or the character he played was.”

Rachel then added that Briar knows that the 39-year-old actor was in Star Wars, but “has no idea what that even means, because she hasn’t seen anything.” If you don’t know, Hayden played Anakin Skywalker in Episodes II and III of the Star Wars series.

Rachel then explained why Briar hasn’t watched her dad in any of the Star Wars movies yet.

“I’d like to keep it that way. Thank God, because he kills children [in the movies], so let’s keep that from her until she’s like 80,” Rachel said with a laugh.

Rachel Bilson is opening up about co-parenting with Hayden Christensen during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The pair share daughter Briar Rose, 6. Rachel and Hayden were together from 2007 to 2017.

First, she addressed that Hayden is being very good about COVID-19 guidelines, saying on the Betches Moms podcase, “Luckily [my daughter's] dad is pretty hardcore with [the COVID restrictions].”

“But you have to trust each other and you are bubbled up,” she said. She added that Hayden had been in his native Canada for some of the pandemic.

“But it’s also nice because she’s had the opportunity to have another house to go and not be stuck in our house the entire time so I’m grateful for that and we’ve just handled it. Survival mode,” she added.

Rachel Bilson is opening up about the time that Rami Malek asked her to take down a photo she posted from their high school days.

During her appearance on Dax Shepard‘s Arm Chair Expert podcast, the 39-year-old former O.C. star revealed that she and Rami were close in high school.

“Rami was a good friend of mine,” she told Dax. “We were [in] the same crew. We did the Crucible together senior year, we were the leads in it together—all these things.”

As Rami rose to mega fame following his role in Bohemian Rhapsody, Rachel posted a throwback pic on her Instagram of the two in high school.

In the pic, the two were in New York City and looking pretty excited about being there. She jokingly captioned it, “Hey @ramimalek where’d you get that gold chain? #tbt #oscarworthy #dontforgetthelittlepeople.”

“I had posted a throwback of us from our senior trip to New York. We’re super nerdy…just the dorkiest picture of the both of us. But I throw it up, ’cause it’s funny and I think it’s so important to be able to make fun of yourself,” Rachel recalled about the photo.

However, it doesn’t seem Rami was a fan of her posting it, and he DMed her to take it down.

Rachel Bilson is back with one of her The O.C. co-stars!

The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday (February 19) to share a selfie with her former co-star Melinda Clarke.

“#FBF???? 🤔 wait for it….. #eternalsummer #covidsafe,” Rachel captioned the below selfie.

If you forgot, Rachel and Melinda starred together on all four seasons of The O.C. from 2003 to 2007. Rachel played Summer Roberts, while Melinda played Julie Cooper, the mother of Mischa Barton‘s character, Marissa Cooper.

As of right now, it’s unclear if Rachel and Melinda are working on a new project together or if they were just catching up.

This isn’t the first The O.C. co-star Rachel hung out with lately. Back in 2019 she randomly bumped into this former co-star at the airport!

“It’s been going pretty well,” Rachel shared with Us Weekly. “It’s also nice because you’re stuck in the house [amid the pandemic].”

Rachel continued: “So, for her to have another house to go to, I think that’s actually been helpful. So, all in all, it’s been good.”

The 38-year-old Hart of Dixie actress and the 42-year-old Barry actor have “amicably split,” according to People.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in December 2019 when they were spotted on a coffee date in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They then went public with their relationship in January 2020 when they walked the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards.

Rachel and Bill have known each other for years after starring in the 2013 romantic comedy The To Do List, which was directed by Bill‘s wife at the time, Maggie Carey.

Rachel previously was in a relationship with Hayden Christensen, who she shares five-year-old daughter Briar Rose with.

Back in March, Rachel jokingly apologized to fans for her breakup with another famous boyfriend.

The actors, who played on-screen couple Summer and Seth, dated in real life and split in late 2006 after three years together.

InStyle magazine posted a throwback photo of Rachel and Adam on Instagram this week and said that their “breakup basically ruined high school for us.”

Rachel left a comment on the post and said, “IM SORRY!!!! He fared really well! 💗”

Adam is currently married to Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester while Rachel is dating SNL album Bill Hader.
