Game Freak announcedPokemon Legends: Arceus, an open-world action-RPG, which will arrive in early 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
Here’s more about the game, set in the feudal past of the Sinnoh region, via IGN: “Announced during today’s Pokemon Presents broadcast, gameplay showed a game world reminiscent of Breath of the Wild, covered in wild Pokemon to catch, and seemingly using some action mechanics for play. The aim is to create Sinnoh’s first Pokedex, and includes exploration, Pokemon capture, and a version of the series’ traditional turn-based battles.”
The game will center around the mythical Pokemon Arceus.
In addition, remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearlwill be released in late 2021 for Nintendo Switch.

In honor of his upcoming Pokemon 25th Anniversary virtual concert this weekend, the 25-year-old rapper covered Hootie and the Blowfish’s 1995 hit song “Only Wanna Be with You,” which he re-worked to now be titled “Pokémon 25 Version.”
Post will be performing the song during his headlining performance during the Pokémon Day virtual concert, which takes place this Saturday, February 27
After a popular series of Pokemon unboxing events in 2020, Logan tracked down the increasingly rare first edition of the cards, amassing one of the biggest collections of the original set.
The first box reportedly cost the most of any: $350,000, containing just under 400 Pokemon cards. He then bought three more boxes from different sellers at $325,000 each.
Then, “the biggest transaction of [his] life”: two first edition boxes for $675,000, bringing his total spend to $2 million in a few months.
Another major unboxing event is set for February 27, and billed as “the biggest Pokemon unboxing ever,” with opening bids on individual packs set to $10,000.

Details are still being kept under wraps, but her involvement will reportedly include a new music program with Universal Music Group. She can also be heard singing the word “Electric!” in a trailer for the 25th anniversary celebration. We can’t wait to see what she’s doing!
