Jamie Bell and Max Minghella are buddying up!

The 35-year-old Rocketman actor and The Handmaid’s Tale actor, also 35, met up for lunch at Little Dom’s restaurant on Monday afternoon (June 28) in Los Feliz, Calif.

Max kept things casual in a white T-shirt paired with light-washed jeans while Jamie wore a black T-shirt, olive-colored pants, and a backwards baseball hat as they enjoyed the sunny weather while eating outside.

If you didn’t know, Jamie and Max have been close friends for years. Jamie starred in Teen Spirit, which Max directed.

The cast of Damien Chazelle’s Babylon movie is filling out.

Deadline just revealed nine new stars that have joined the pic including Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, and Samara Weaving.

The site also revealed that Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton will also appear in the film opposite Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li.

Almost all the roles and details of the plot are being kept under wraps at this point in time, however it’s reported that Babylon will be an R-rated drama set in the shifting moment in Hollywood when the industry turned from silent film to talkies.

Damien will be directing and writing the script, with Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, and Marc Platt producing. Tobey Maguire, Helen Estabrook and Adam Siegel are all executive producers on the movie.

Babylon is currently set for a January 2022 release date.

Margot actually replaced this other actress in the movie.

Max Minghella and girlfriend actress Elle Fanning arrive together for the press night performance of Fleabag! held at The Wyndham’s Theatre on Wednesday (August 28) in London, England.

The twosome stopped for some fans while on their way into the event.

The 21-year-old actress held hands with 33-year-old The Handmaid’s Tale actor during an afternoon outing on Saturday (June 15) in Silver Lake, Calif.
