Lena Dunham is candidly speaking about the rumors that her friend Lorde and her ex boyfriend Jack Antonoff dated after her and Jack‘s early 2018 breakup.

“It was so embarrassing…It was awful because I felt like a weird…I don’t think anything happened between them,” Lena told The Cut. “I can never know someone else’s life. I have never spoken to Ella [Lorde] about it. We haven’t talked since Jack and I broke up. It was awful, and I couldn’t do anything about it except trust that what he was saying to me was true.”

Jack denied any rumors that he was romantically involved with Lorde. If you don’t know, Jack co-wrote and co-produced her album Melodrama.

About her five-year romance with Jack, Lena added, “Our relationship probably lasted longer than it should have. He’s a very loyal person, so he was not going to bail when the going got tough. He literally held my hand while I got an enema on New Year’s Eve while his family celebrated. But when you’re sick, so much energy goes into making sure the other person is well that you’re not even noticing maybe our schedules aren’t compatible. Maybe we want different things out of our lives. Maybe we have different attitudes about what family means. Maybe these essential questions that people have to ask themselves all the time are not being asked, because we just want to make sure that I don’t pass out at the grocery store.”

Lorde is calling out Kanye West and Kid Cudi after discovering their new stage design is very similar to her own.

The 22-year-old singer took to her Instagram story to share several photos of her stage, which features a floating glass box.

Kanye and Cudi‘s stage design during their performance at Camp Flog Gnaw this past weekend featured an almost identical box.

“I’m proud of the work I do and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they choose to try it on themselves,” Lorde wrote.

She continued, “But don’t steal – not from women or anyone else – not in 2018 or ever.”

FYI: If you don’t know, the designer of Lorde‘s set, Es Devlin, has also been designing sets for Kanye since 2005, TMZ reports. She’s helped him with his Touch The Sky, Glow in the Dark, Watch the Throne, YEEZUS and Saint Pablo tours.

Lorde always fires up the crowd!

The 21-year-old “Green Light” superstar performed as part of the All Points East festival on Saturday (May 26) at Victoria Park in London, England.

During her set, Lorde performed hits including “Green Light,” “Royals,” and “Tennis Court,” “Homemade Dynamite” and “Team.”

Lorde is currently on the road touring in support of her latest studio album Melodrama, and is set to perform in St. Petersburg, Russia on Tuesday (May 29), followed by a show on Thursday (May 31) in Moscow, Russia.

Lorde has done some spring cleaning on her social media pages.

The 21-year-old singer deleted all of her tweets all the way back to November of last year.

Lorde also deleted all the photos from her Instagram account, leaving up only a few, one from each year for the last three years.

Fans took notice of the change during the 2018 Met Gala, and one fan has a theory of what the photos she left up could mean.

“first post: lorde, on stage, the leader of an army. second: her army of children (us) waiting to be given the words, watching her in the crowd. third: we have to ‘trust her’, presumably when she gives us the words,” they wrote.

Could this all be because Lorde is getting ready to release some music??

Lorde is apologizing after she posted a photo of a bathtub with a Whitney Houston lyric as the caption.

The 21-year-old singer didn’t realize when she posted the photo that the late singer died in a bathtub. She instantly received backlash for the post and promptly deleted it.

“Extremely extremely poorly chosen quote. I’m so sorry for offending anyone – I hadn’t even put this together I was just excited to take a bath,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “I’m an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.”

She later added, “It is not my FKN day today.”

Lorde is responding to rumors of a romantic relationship with Jack Antonoff!

The 21-year-old “Green Light” singer-songwriter did an Instagram Live session on Thursday (February 22), where she answered fan questions for about 20 minutes.

During the broadcast, one fan asked whether Lorde was dating her frequent musical collaborator, Jack.

“Guys, no!” she laughed.

“Guys…Jack and I are not dating, for the last time. But I love him, he’s awesome. But we’re not dating! Please!”

Lorde is currently on the road on her Melodrama World Tour.

Lorde is making one thing very clear in her new Instagram Story: don’t give her unsolicited advice about acne.

The 21-year-old singer posted a series of videos of her using an acne LED light therapy device, and saying she has tried every remedy and treatment out there. “For the real though, acne sucks,” Lorde said.

Lorde then imitated what people usually do to her: “You know what also sucks? When you’ve had acne for years and years and years, done all the drugs, tried all the things, and people are still like, ‘You know what worked for me, is moisturizing!’…Make a mask out of honey, greek yogurt and avocado. All you need to do is buy an apricot scrub! Coconut oil – the secret is coconut oil!”

Lorde also added as part of her impression, “Do you wash your face? It’s like, yes, I wash my face, I’m just genetically cursed.”
