Timothee Chalamet and Frank Ocean keep it cool and casual as they sit alongside each other at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Show held as part of Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (January 17) in Paris, France.

The 23-year-old Beautiful Boy star and the 31-year-old Grammy-winning singer was joined by Naomi Campbell, Joel Edgerton, Kid Cudi, Natalia Vodianova, Kris Wu, J Balvin, Offset, JJ Lin, Takanori Iwata, Sita Abellan and Gunna as they all sat in the front row.

After the presentation, Timothee and the rest of the VIP guests made their way backstage to congratulate Virgil Abloh, the Louis Vuitton’s Men‘s Artistic Director.

The three were among the many stars in attendance at Louis Vuitton’s Volez, Voguez, Voyagez Exhibition Launch on Thursday (November 15) at Shanghai Exhibition Center in Shanghai, China.

Attendees included Nicolas Ghesquière, Léa Seydoux, Jaden Smith, Kris Wu, Lang Lang, Zhong Chuxi, Tang Yan, Chun Xia, Du Juan, Karena Lam, Zhu Yilong, Liu Haoran and Hidetoshi Nakata.

The show is a retrospective dedicated both the Louis Vuitton brand and its founder, which was first held in 2015 in Paris. It toured Tokyo in 2016, and Seoul and New York in 2017. It will be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Friday (Nov. 16) to February 1, 2019.

Kris Wu‘s new album Antares shot to number one on the iTunes chart after its release and his songs dominated the singles chart as well.

It seemed like the Chinese pop star was going to debut at the top of the Billboard chart, but it was discovered that many of the sales could not be validated.

After an audit, Kris‘ album debuted at No. 100 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with 8,000 equivalent album units. Of that number, the singer sold 5,000 albums.

It is believed that Kris‘ fans in China, where the album was released days after the U.S. release, hacked into the U.S. iTunes store to purchase the album.

“Billboard and Nielsen Music have been working to validate the accuracy and legitimacy of the sales volumes that were reported for Kris Wu last week,” a Nielsen rep told Billboard. “As with all instances when providers are unable to validate sales, Nielsen decides on a case by case basis whether streaming or sales activity is chart-eligible. In this case, we did not receive the required validation of certain Kris Wu sales for last week and have decided to remove all unverified activity for the week ending November 8.”

Kris Wu‘s Antares album sales from the U.S. iTunes store were acquired “fraudulently” and will not count towards the Billboard charts.

The decision was made as of Wednesday (November 7), according to Variety.

The 28-year-old EXO alum’s solo debut stormed the iTunes U.S. charts upon its release, with the only non-Kris song in the Top 10 as of Monday (November 5) being Ariana Grande‘s “Thank U, Next.”

The determination that the purchases were fraudulent came down to a number of factors, including the fact that the album hadn’t yet been released in China. Some have speculated that Chinese fans were able to manipulate their VPN to access the U.S. iTunes store to purchase the album. Others suggested it was a mobilized fan initiative to “game the U.S. system to gain traction in the U.S. and mobilize a new audience.”

The album also dropped down to No. 90 on the charts once the album was made available in China. Apple has declined to comment.

American music executive Scooter Braun has just publicly defended Kris from bot rumors after he topped the US iTunes album and single sales charts.

“Over the past few days I have become aware of an artist named @kriswu. Last night we had an opportunity to connect and talk and show respect. We learned of eachother since many rumors have come out about both us in connection to his newest release,” Scooter said in his Instgram post. “Kris is a great artist who on a global scale is a star. It was explained to he and I last night that because his release was held back in China for his birthday his fans went and got the music any way they could and that was US Itunes. Once the release in China took place the fans had their access. He has never been removed from the charts on iTunes. That is false. Those were real people from the US and international community and not bots like many have rumored. I have never wished anything bad for Kris nor any other artist and those saying otherwise are wrong..”

The 27-year-old former EXO member turned solo star dropped his highly anticipated project on Friday (November 2).

The collection includes collaborations with Travis Scott, Rich The Kid and Jhene Aiko.

“The name Antares itself is, like—a lot of people won’t get what it means—it’s actually one of the brightest stars in the galaxy. And in the Western culture it means that it’s the heart of a Scorpio. So I’m actually a Scorpio, like, my horoscope. And in China, it means it’s the heart of the dragon,” he explained of the album’s title.
