Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are heading home after a dinner date.

The 56-year-old Friends and Cougar Town actress held on close to 44-year-old Snow Patrol musician’s arm as they headed out to their car after grabbing dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant on Tuesday night (March 30) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Courteny kept things casual in gray cardigan over a striped blouse paired with jeans and black booties with Johnny sported a denim coat over a navy sweater and dark brown trousers for their night out.

The engaged couple’s dinner date comes several days after they were spotted running a few errands around town together.

The two spent a long time away from each other due to the pandemic, with Courteney revealing at the end of 2020 that they hadn’t seen each other for over half a year. It’s nice to see them spending time together again!

The two looked happy together, exchanging laughs and wearing masks amid the pandemic as they made their way out with their groceries for the day.

The two spent a long time away from each other due to the pandemic, with Courteney revealing at the end of 2020 that they hadn’t seen each other for over half a year. It’s nice to see them spending time together again!

Despite their temporary separation, Courteney was feeling the love for her fiance with a sweet anniversary post in September.

The Friends actress revealed that she has not yet seen her fiance in over 200 days since he returned to the United Kingdom in March amid the pandemic.

“At first I was like, ‘Wow what do I do with myself? I cook every day, I’ve learned to cook so much more, I’ve perfected it,’” she said to Foy Vance on the “Vinyl Supper” podcast series.

“Sundays are different, I miss a lot of it, although people are starting to go, ‘OK, people have been quarantining, everyone’s safe,’ they like to come to the beach so I’m not that lonely,” she continued.

She also said she’s been hanging with two friends amid quarantine.

“I have these two friends, they were gonna quarantine with me, which is great because if I can’t be with John, I don’t wanna be just by myself with Coco, I’m a little chicken,” she admits.

The 56-year-old Friends actress took to her Instagram account on Thursday (September 24) to mark seven years since the first date they went on.

“7 years ago today I had my first date with this incredible man… and my life was changed forever. I love you J ♥️,” Courteney captioned her post.

Courteney posted a video that had a slideshow of many photos that commemorated her relationship with Johnny, 44. If you didn’t know, he’s part of the band Snow Patrol!

The couple started dating in September 2013 and they got engaged six months after they first started dating, though they called off the engagement in late 2015. By mid-2016, the couple was back together and they’ve been going strong ever since.

Courteney recently opened up about how her and Johnny have been spending the pandemic apart.

Courteney has been quarantined in Los Angeles while Johnny is in London. Hopefully they’ll be able to reunite soon!

While apart from her partner, Courteney has been spending time with her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston and they have been trying to convince fans to wear masks while in public situations.

Over the weekend, Courteney also celebrated her daughter, Coco Arquette‘s 16th birthday.

“Happy sweet 16th cocolo. You’re my little quirk of the universe. I love you ♥️♥️♥️

Courteney Cox and her longtime love, musician Johnny McDaid, have been forced to quarantine separately, and it has been hard on her to be separated for this long.

“He was supposed to go to Switzerland to write and instead, he had to [go to] England first and then, all of a sudden, [quarantine] happened,” she told Ellen DeGeneres. “I have not seen him in so long and you don’t realize, we spend a lot of time on FaceTime, but now, it’s like, Oh, my God, I just miss, you know, his physical touch. Just all of it. It’s been hard, really. This is the longest time.”

Courteney had to clarify her relationship status a few years back after rumors swirled about them. They were last seen out together in March.
