Chrissy Teigen is going all out for a friends birthday!

The 35-year-old cookbook author took to Instagram on Thursday night (March 4) to share a bunch of posts inside the Hooters-themed party she threw for her friend and stylist Alana Van Deraa.

For the party, Chrissy dressed up as a Hooters waitress and danced around to music by The Pussycat Dolls.

She also shared a picture of hubby John Legend sporting a black polo shirt and a trucker hat that had the Hooters logo on it.

Chrissy also shared a photo of Alana wearing Hooters merch while munching on some chicken wings and a pic of daughter Luna, 4, sitting behind a giant Hooters-themed birthday cake.

“Back to my roots. was a hostess at the hoots! the shorts, they have changed!!!!” Chrissy captioned the below video from the party.

John Legend is revealing how he came to be known by his stage name after being born “John Roger Stevens” – and Kanye West is heavily involved!

“It was a nickname that some friends started calling me in the studio, just guys that I was collaborating with,” John said during his appearance on The Tonight Show. “The first guy to call me that was J. Ivy. He’s a spoken-word artist from Chicago.

He said he met J. Ivy through Kanye.

“We were all in the studio together. He just started calling me ‘The Legend’ because he thought I sounded like one of our old-school soul legends. And it just caught on with our little group of friends and then they were like, ‘We should call you John Legend.‘ And it just really was in our little circle,” John said.

Then, Kanye actually called him “John Legend” on a mixtape he released.

John said, “At some point, I had to decide, ‘Am I going to stick with John Stephens—which I was perfectly fine with, I wasn’t looking for a stage name—or am I going to go with this more audacious name and call myself a legend before I even have a record deal?’”

Once, John‘s wife Chrissy Teigen was asked why she never took John‘s legal last name and she had the perfect response.

The Legends are enjoying a mid-day date!

John Legend waved to photographers as he and Chrissy Teigen made their way back to their car after grabbing lunch at Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air on Monday afternoon (February 22) in Bel-Air, Calif.

The 42-year-old EGOT winner looked cool in a black and white star-print shirt paired with black jeans while the 35-year-old cookbook author donned a crop-top, cream-colored duster, and jeans for their lunch date.

They both stayed safe in face masks as they left the restaurant.

A few days earlier, Chrissy honored the couple’s late son Jack on what was supposed to be his due date.

Chrissy Teigen went super casual for an outing with husband John Legend in Los Angeles on Tuesday (February 16).

The Hollywood power couple made a short trip together reportedly to check out construction on their new home together.

Chrissy‘s pink patterned robe was also monogrammed with her initials and she paired it with some cute fluffy white slippers. The couple have a growing collection of robes.

The outing comes just days after Chrissy underwent surgery for endometriosis.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition is an “often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus.”

Chrissy also shared a pic with fans just moments before being rolled into the operating room.

The 35-year-old cookbook author and the 42-year-old entertainer posed for a few photos while arriving at a restaurant for a romantic dinner on Sunday night (February 14) in Los Angeles.

Chrissy looked super sexy in a little, black dress paired with a black faux-fur coat while John sported a velvet, maroon blazer for their romantic dinner. They both stayed safe in black face masks for their outing.

A few days before, John took to Instagram to share a couple super cute photos with 4-year-old daughter Luna.

“My little valentine,” John captioned the below post.

John Legend has suffered a loss.

The 42-year-old entertainer took to his Instagram on Tuesday (February 2) to reveal that his grandmother Marjorie had passed away earlier in the day.

“My beautiful grandmother, Marjorie Maxine Stephens, left this world early this morning, just a few days after her 91st birthday,” John wrote. “We are so grateful for the life she lived, for the love she shared with her many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and beyond. She was the most caring and conscientious grandmother you could imagine. She still sent us all birthday cards with cash until her final days.”

“She hosted our yearly Christmas celebrations until we literally couldn’t fit in her little pink house on Heard Avenue in Springfield, Ohio,” John continued. “She was active and full of curiosity and energy until her final days. She always had a story to tell and words of encouragement and love. She supported us and rooted for us unconditionally. I’m so glad she got to see the fruits of all she gave us.”

Along with his sweet message, John shared several photos of his grandma, along with a cute photo of Marjorie with his daughter Luna, 4, back when she was baby.

“She got to travel the world with us, went to my first Grammys. She got to experience the successes of all her offspring,” John concluded. “We are the family we are, the individuals we are because of the love she poured into us. We are sad to lose her but most of all so appreciative of the full, blessed life she lived. May she Rest In Peace after running a great race. 💗💗💗💗💗”

The married couple dined at an outdoor table with two friends. They were also spotted eating out on Sunday night and they posed for some cute photos for the paparazzi.

Los Angeles resumed outdoor dining last Friday after months of restaurants being barred from doing in-person dining. Indoor dining is still not allowed while the pandemic continues.

Another very famous couple was spotted eating at Il Pastaio just hours after Chrissy and John were there.

Chrissy has been busy trying new recipes for her upcoming cookbook and she also has been spending a lot of time at the stables with her kids while they learn to ride horses.
