Joel McHale is ready for The Soup 2.0!

The 46-year-old television personality is about to launch The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale, a follow up to his popular comedic entertainment commentary show.

The new Netflix series is set to feature trending news, pop culture, social media and original sketches in a similar format to the original program.

“Now we’re going to make fun of everything. We’re going to make fun of streaming services, we’re going to be making fun of reality shows in other countries…Of course, we will hit staples like The Bachelor or The Real Housewives. Those are like the basic food groups,” Joel told THR.

The first episode is set to feature guests including Kevin Hart, Alison Brie and Jodie Sweetin.

The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale premieres on February 18th on Netflix.

Zachary Knighton guest stars as Paul, the chill descendant of Serbian ancestors who has been tasked with pursuing the truth of the undead, no matter who or what stands in his way.

The upcoming second season will be premiering this spring.

Joel McHale is defending fellow comedian Aziz Ansari against claims that he sexually assaulted a woman during a date.

“It was probably just a really bad date,” Joel told TMZ. “The problem is that people will read just the name and then just the accusation, and they don’t find out anything more than that. But it sounds like it was consensual.”

Joel said he does support the #MeToo movement.

“The Me Too movement is tremendous and it is awesome and needs to continue forever. But if someone had a bad date, then it was a bad date,” he continued.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale will be a 30 minute topical series, promising to “skewer the latest events in pop culture and news from across the globe.”

It will also include celebrity guests, comedy sketches and video clips from TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture and every corner of the internet.

The 13-episode first season launches on February 18, with new episodes dropping every week.

The series marks a long-awaited return to the format for Joel, who hosted E!’s The Soup from 2004 to 2015. We can’t wait to watch!
