Jane Fonda is getting emotional.
The 83-year-old actress made an appearance on Demi Lovato‘s 4D With Demi Lovato podcast.
During the podcast, they discussed the pressures of society, as well as Demi‘s near-fatal overdose in 2018.

Jane Fonda is opening up about her sexual desires and dating at the age of 83.
“Should I tell you this? I don’t know. Okay. I’ll be truthful. One of the painful things that I’ve realized by 80—I don’t even know how old I am—83, and single now. What I’ve had to really think about is that I’m not really capable [of intimacy]. It’s not them. It’s me,”the 83-year-old legendary star told Harper’s Bazaar. “If a guy had come along and said, ‘Come on, Fonda, show up,’ I would have run away scared. I was attracted to men who never would have done that to me because they couldn’t necessarily show up themselves. I didn’t know that at the time, but now I know. I don’t think I can do anything about it now, but that’s the truth, as Lily [Tomlin] would say. That’s the truth.”
She then added, “I don’t want to be in a relationship, a sexual relationship, again. I don’t have that desire. Do I fantasize? Yes, here’s my fantasy. I’ll just put it out there. That I meet a professor or a researcher, somebody in that line who is really capable of loving, of cherishing a woman, so that I could test myself and see if I could show up. I think maybe now I could, but the problem is that, like a man, I would want a younger man. Isn’t that awful? It’s a thing about skin. I would want a younger man, and I’m too vain.”
This is not the first time Jane has spoken about this topic. She recently spoke out about if she wants to get married again.

The 83-year-old actress will be accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which honors those for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”.
Jane actually chose a previously worn outfit to cut down on consumerism.
“I vowed a couple of years ago I would never buy any new clothes again. We spend too much money, we buy too many things, and then we get rid of them. We try to develop our identity by shopping, right? We gotta stop that. Stop all this consumerism,” Jane shared in a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
She then said that she “had to go through my closet and find out something that still fit me and I have worn before, and I found something. I’m all set.”

Jane Fonda is opening up about her relationship history.
In a virtual interview with Page Six ahead of the 2021 Golden Globes, the actress and activist was asked if there was anything she hasn’t achieved yet that she still wants to accomplish.
“I’ll tell you something that I haven’t achieved, which is a successful marriage,” Jane responded.
“But the second part of your question is, ‘Do you want to to?’ I don’t want to,” she continued. “See I live by myself. I don’t have any guy who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry and who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry and stand up.”
“I’m not threatening anybody. I can watch whatever I want on TV. So I don’t ever want to be married again. But it’s something I wish I’d been better at,” she added.
Jane was married to French director Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973, politician Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990 and CNN founder Ted Turner from 1991 to 2001.
She then began dating American music producer Richard Perry in 2009 after meeting him while she was having knee surgery. The pair broke up in 2017.

Jane Fonda is lending her voice!
The Academy Award-winning star joined the voice cast of Luck, a new movie from Apple and Skydance Animation, Variety reported Thursday (February 18).

Jane will play a key role in the film that “envisions colliding worlds of good and bad luck — and the unlucky girl who must intervene and save the day.”
Here’s more about the role: Jane will voice The Dragon, described as the “exuberant CEO of Good Luck and undisputed luckiest ancient being in all the land. The Dragon is elegant, stylish and as persuasive as she is powerful. The only thing better than good luck is more good luck, so when bad luck starts to spin out of control, she must face her fears or risk losing good luck forever.”
The film will be directed by Peggy Holmes. Jane is the first talent attached to the project. Emma Thompson departed a role in the film back in 2019, but insiders say Jane is not replacing what would have been Emma‘s role, as the story got an overhaul with a new character.

Jane Fonda has been chosen to receive a top honor at the 2021 Golden Globes!
The 83-year-old Hollywood legend, who is a seven-time Golden Globe winner and 15-time nominee, will receive the Cecil B. deMille Award at the 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards airing on Sunday, February 28 live from Los Angeles.
“The Hollywood Foreign Press Association takes great pride in bestowing the 2021 Cecil B. deMille Award to Jane Fonda,” HFPA President Ali Sar said in a statement. “For more than five decades, Jane’s breadth of work has been anchored in her unrelenting activism, using her platform to address some of the most important social issues of our time. We are honored to celebrate her achievements at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards.”
