James Marsden wheels around his carry-on suitcase at LAX Airport on Monday (September 23) in Los Angeles.

The 46-year-old actor was spotted in an all-black outfit and aviator sunglasses while at the airport.

James has been silent on Instagram for the past month. He will next be seen in the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which was pushed back to February 2020 so that the filmmakers can redo Sonic’s look following backlash from fans.

James Marsden and Amber Heard are teaming up for a new show!

The 45-year-old Dead to Me actor and the 33-year-old Aquaman actress will be starring in the upcoming series The Stand heading to CBS All Access.

The show will be an adaption of Stephen King‘s novel The Stand. He will also be writing the last chapter, providing a coda to the series that’s not found in the book.

“The Stand tells the story of a world decimated by a plague and locked in an elemental struggle between good and evil. The fate of mankind rests on the frail shoulders of 108-year-old Mother Abigail and a handful of survivors. Their worst nightmares are embodied by a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg, the Dark Man,” THR reports.

James Marsden will be playing Stu Redman, a working-class factory man who becomes a leader of the survivors.

Amber Heard will play Nadine Cross, who feels the consequences of her actions but is compelled by her allegiance to Randall.

Odessa Young and Henry Zaga will also be starring in the upcoming 10-episode series.

James Marsden‘s role was cut from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The 45-year-old actor’s participation in the film was announced last year, but we never knew who he was intended to play…until now.

Collider reports that James was cut from the film and audiences discovered this after the film’s premiere on Monday. James was apparently intended to play a young Burt Reynolds in the movie.

The late Burt Reynolds himself was actually supposed to be in the film, but he sadly passed away before filming.

It’s unclear if James‘ role was cut for time or cut after the death of the late actor.

James Marsden has a new TV show in the works!

The 45-year-old actor will be playing the lead role of Stu Redman in the upcoming TV adaptation of the horror novel The Stand, Deadline reports.

Based on the post-apocalyptic horror novel by Stephen King, The Stand “vividly outlines the total breakdown of society after the accidental release of a strain of influenza that had been modified for biological warfare and causes an apocalyptic pandemic which kills off the majority of the world’s human population.”

The nine-episode limited series will be debuting on CBS All Access, with Josh Boone directing all of the episodes.

The 50-year-old actress and 45-year-old actor reminisced about their time together on Ally McBeal, and talked about working with co-star Calista Flockhart.

At one point, James recalled Calista asking him to join her on a first date with her eventual husband, Harrison Ford: “I was a third wheel on her first date with Harrison Ford,” he revealed. “She asked me after we wrapped if I would come along with her to this date because it was a new guy and we felt safe with each other. We went to dinner and then she said they were going to go back to his house to have cocktails, she was like ‘you gotta come with me’, and I was like ‘really?’.”

“I take the credit for that,” James joked. “I’m not sure if he would remember me if he saw me.”

James Marsden and his girlfriend Edei couple up for lunch!

The 45-year-old Dead to Me actor and the 30-year-old English singer were spotted visiting Joan’s on Third on Saturday (May 18) in Los Angeles.

The two chatted and strolled as they headed to their ride, and James stopped to make a phone call.

He donned a dark blue graphic t-shirt with black pants and black and white Nike sneakers, along with a black baseball cap and sunglasses.

Edei stayed comfy in a yellow printed dress with black and white striped slides, a black and gold purse, and gold earrings, styling her hair into a bun.

Later that night, they got dressed up for the 2019 MOCA Benefit.
