IMDb has released the list of the 10 biggest breakout actors and actresses of 2020 based on their website data and it’s really interesting!

Here’s the methodology behind IMDb’s top 10 list: Among the select group of stars who charted on the IMDb annual Top 100 list for the first time in their careers in 2020, these 10 stars consistently ranked highest on the IMDbPro STARmeter chart throughout the year. IMDbPro STARmeter rankings are based on the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb.

Of all the 10 stars on this list, only two people are not associated with Netflix in any way. The other 9 talented individuals all have a Netflix credit to their name in the past 12 or so months.

2018 is coming to an end, and IMDb has just released their list of IMDb’s Top 10 Stars of 2018!

The top 10 list is compiled using the site’s STARmeter rankings, which are based on page views. Whichever stars were consistently the highest on the charts were ranked accordingly. Women definitely ruled 2018 – eight out of the Top 10 Stars are female.

The list consists of both television and movie stars. Can you guess who made it to the top spot this year? Congrats to all those named on the list!

IMDb has released its annual list of the top 10 movies of 2017.

The popular film website breaks down the top 10 based on how many people visit the individual site pages for the films. The exclusive data is derived from IMDbPro’s definitive MOVIEmeter rankings, which are updated weekly throughout the year.

In addition, the site released the list of the most anticipated films of 2018, which were consistently the most popular with IMDb users as determined by the actual page views of the website.
