Alyssa Milano has released a video in which she lets her 4-year-old daughter Elizabella know why she came forward about her sexual assault.
The 45-year-old Insatiable actress stepped out for the New York Women’s Foundation Radical Generosity 2018 Gala held at The Plaza Hotel on Monday (October 15) in New York City.
She paired her all-white ensemble with silver heels, a bedazzled brown clutch, and gold rings and earrings.
Alyssa was joined by civil rights activist and Me Too movement founder Tarana Burke.
Alyssa also stopped by Good Morning America that same day, which marked the one-year anniversary of the movement.
“One year ago I recorded this for my daughter, explaining why I shared my story of sexual assault,” Alyssa captioned the video below on Twitter. “I never expected to release it publicly. Now, I feel it’s too important not to share. #MeToo.”

Dear Elizabella,
I love you so. I will fight so you don’t have to.
