CBS Unveils Full Premiere Schedule For Fall 2021/2022 Television Season

With fall just around the corner, CBS has revealed the official premiere schedule for the Fall 2021/2022 schedule for their shows.

The network actually cancelled a lot of fan favorite series, like All Rise, The Unicorn, and several others.

However, there are quite a lot of shows that will be back for the upcoming fall season including the likes of NCIS, Young Sheldon, S.W.A.T. and FBI: Most Wanted.

As previously revealed, CBS will also air the first four episodes of SEAL Team‘s fifth season, before it moves to streamer Paramount+ for the rest of the season.

CBS Boss Talks Why It Was The Perfect Time To Bring Back 'CSI'

The original CSI series ran from 2000 until 2015 and had over 300 episodes to air.

Now, CBS is bringing the series back for its’ upcoming fall 2021-2022 season with some familiar faces, and new ones too.

Kelly Kahl, CBS Entertainment president, revealed why now was the perfect time to revive the series.

William Petersen Will Return For 'CSI: Vegas' Reboot on CBS With Jorja Fox

The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation reboot is officially happening!

The original series, which ran from 2000 to 2015, is returning to CBS.

Deadline reports that three original stars – William Petersen, Jorja Fox and Wallace Langham – will all be back for the new series, titled CSI: Vegas, as well.

CSI: Vegas “opens a new chapter in Las Vegas, the city where it all began. Facing an existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City”, the official description reads.

The new series will also star Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mel Rodriguez and Mandeep Dhillon.

Plans about the reboot for the long-running show were revealed last year.

CBS Eyes 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' Limited Series Revival

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation could be making its way back onto our television screens.

THR is reporting that CBS is eyeing a limited series revival of the hit television show, which ran from 2000-2015.

The network is “in talks with original series creator Anthony Zuiker, Jerry Bruckheimer and the show’s creative team to bring back the procedural with a new, limited series”, the site reports.

The potential revival is designed to help celebrate CSI’s 20th anniversary, and will be set in Las Vegas.

No word on if the original cast would all be returning, however William Petersen, who played lead investigator Gil Grissom for ten seasons, could possibly return for the limited reboot.

Fans were in for a surprise while watching tonight’s episode of NCIS – the “series finale” of CSI was promoted even though the show hasn’t been canceled!

An on-screen promo said that the “series finale” of the long-running series would be airing this Sunday at 9/8c and fans immediately started tweeting their dismay.

Well, CSI fans can breathe easy because the show is NOT ending yet and the episode this Sunday is just a season finale.

James Van Der Beek Joins 'CSI: Cyber' as Series Regular!

James Van Der Beek has joined the cast of the new CBS series CSI: Cyber!

The 37-year-old actor will play FBI Agent Elijah Mundo, an expert in battlefield forensics recruited by Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) for his war efforts in Afghanistan.

Here are more details on the character via CBS: Mundo is a savant when it comes to weaponry, vehicles and bombs. A self-proclaimed action junkie, Agent Mundo will often put himself at risk to seek permanent justice, while Ryan will level his diehard behavior with her expertise in psychology. Together, they will team up to fight the world’s toughest cyber crimes. Foreign and domestic.

CSI: Cyber will debut during the 2014-2015 television season.
