Armie Hammer is being accused of rape and beating a woman – who has come forward as Effie - back in 2017.

“I thought that he was going to kill me,” Effie said on Thursday (March 18) during a press conference with her attorney Gloria Allred. Many are wondering if this “Effie” is the same Effie that runs HouseofEffie. This account was one of the first to come forward with the allegations against Hammer months ago when his alleged DMs leaked and alleged violence and cannibalism. Gloria would not confirm if this was the same Effie.

“On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles,” Effie said (via Variety). “During which he repeatedly slapped my head against a wall bruising my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”

She added he beat her feet during the alleged attack “so they would hurt” and she said she tried to leave “but he wouldn’t let me.”

Effie said they met when she was 20 years old on Facebook.

“He would often test my devotion to him,” Effie said, adding. “He abused me mentally, emotionally and sexually.”

She added she “fell in love with him instantly,” but now recognizes “clear manipulation tactics” used.

Armie Hammer is reportedly moving out.

The 34-year-old Call Me By Your Name actor, who faces multiple allegations of abuse and cannibal fantasies, reportedly moved out of his Los Angeles home in the dead of the night this week, via Page Six on Sunday (February 28).

Armie and estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers reportedly found a buyer for their former $5 million home earlier this month.

The star organized his movers “under the cover of night,” according to the report.

“Trucks and a gaggle of movers descended on the property, working well after midnight and lit only by flashlights…we like to keep drama to the minimum in the neighborhood, but it was already weird that the house sat on the market for months while other houses around here sold like hotcakes,” a source told the outlet.

The seven-bedroom, six-bathroom home first hit the market in September of 2020, and faced several price reductions since.

It was recently revealed that Armie Hammer is being recast in this upcoming project.

Julia Roberts and Sean Penn‘s new Watergate drama Gaslit will debut on Starz after a series of casting changes, including Armie Hammer‘s departure from the project.

Armie exited the project in January of 2021, but now it is being reported that his role will definitely be recast, Variety reports.

The network has greenlit the series, which is based on the Slate podcast Slow Burn and was first unveiled in February 2020.

Gaslit is a modern take on Watergate that will explore the untold side of the sandal, focusing on Nixon’s subordinates and the whistleblowers who eventually exposed the truth.

Joel Edgerton was initially set to star in and direct the show, but he has reportedly exited the series, per Deadline. His brother Nash Edgerton also left the project.

Armie was originally attached to play White House Counsel John Dean but left the series in January 2021 in order to join the cast of The Offer, which he would eventually exit after allegations of sexual misconduct. It has not been announced who will replace him in the role.

Saturday Night Live throw in a little dig at Armie Hammer.

During a sketch that was featured in Saturday, February 20th’s episode, the sketch comedy series poked a fun at the 34-year-old actor’s cannibalism scandal.

In the sketch titled “Loco,” the SNL cast members play characters that are all starting to go a little crazy while stuck at home during the pandemic.

When Pete Davidson‘s part comes up, he directly references the Armie scandal.

“I’m Loco, Four Loko, I’m mad like Hannibal, but not like Armie Hammer, that dude’s a cannibal,” Pete raps.

During a new interview, one of Armie‘s ex-girlfriends revealed how Armie branded her, and claimed that he then licked up her blood.

If you missed it, this fast food chain also seemingly roasted Armie Hammer with a tweet about cannibalism.

Armie Hammer‘s ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze revealed last month that he allegedly carved the letter “A” into her skin to brand her and now she’s opening up about that incident.

The Instagram model went on The Dr. Oz Show on Friday (February 19) to talk about her experiences with Armie and the alleged abuse she suffered.

After Dr. Oz said that he didn’t need to show the photo of the brand, Paige said, “It’s fine. I think it’s to the story to just be completely honest and open about what happened.”

Dr. Oz asked how it happened and she said, “So on one of these high-profile nights, I was tied up and he basically looked over my body and said to me, ‘Where should I put my initials on you?’ And I didn’t really say anything and then he just started to carve his initial into me and I just didn’t say anything. Which is a complicated part of this. I was always wanting to please him and I never wanted to say no. I was in a weak position and he was in a position of power. He knew how uncomfortable it made me, but I just never said no. I think that kind of being coerced into things… we don’t want to say no and we don’t want to be undesirable and I think consent is much more complicated than we think.”

Paige was also asked if she started bleeding and what happened in that moment.

The Wendy’s social media team tweeted and deleted a “roast” that seemingly referred to Armie Hammer.

The fast food chain’s Twitter account celebrated National Roast Day this week by tweeting funny things about tons of brands.

“Time for everybody’s favorite made up social media holiday. It’s #NationalRoastDay, like right now. Drop a ‘Roast Me’ below and feel the burn,” Wendy’s tweeted.

The account for film studio Lionsgate responded and said, “ok i’ll play… roast me.”

In case you forgot, Armie was set to star in the upcoming Lionsgate movie Shotgun Wedding, but he dropped out of the film amid the DMs scandal he’s currently involved in. One of the messages that he allegedly sent to a woman on Instagram said, “I am 100% a cannibal.”
