Pete Davidson revealed how he accidentally caused Alec Baldwin to lose around 100lbs!

During a visit to The Tonight Show on Tuesday (April 6), Pete relayed the story about what happened when Alec visited SNL before he signed on to play Trump for several years.

“I was on set and Alec was hosting. It was a sketch where I had to be shirtless, and I am a little bit cut,” Pete said. “So he came up to me and he was like, ‘What do you do?’ And I didn’t want to be rude and say, ‘I just still have metabolism. I am not in my mid-50s. I just wake up like this.’ So, to make him feel better, I said ‘I do 100 pushups and 100 situps every day.’ And he was like, ‘Got it.’”

“And then he got the Trump gig, and I would see him every week. And every time I would see him in the hall, he’d be like, ’100 a day,’” Pete said. “And he lost like 100 pounds.”

Gillian Anderson is responding after hearing about Alec Baldwin shading her accent.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 52-year-old recent Critics Choice Award and Golden Globes winner revealed she hadn’t heard about it until her friends mentioned it to her.

“I didn’t pay any attention to it because it’s just something that I live,” Gillian explained. “I grew up between two countries and so depending on who is in my ear is which direction my accent goes. So, I’m so used to it that it’s kind of old news for me.”

She added about Alec‘s comment, “It’s so not a newsworthy item, but I’m sad that it’s caused him so much distress.”

Just last week, Alec deactivated his Twitter account after facing backlash for a joke made about her accent.

“The person I was referring to is someone I am a huge fan of … and that comment was meant to just illustrate the point that multicultural expressions of anyone … that’s your business,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram account.

Gillian was born in the United States, but had spent 10 years of her life living in London before returning to the US in her later formative years.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin recently welcomed their sixth child just about six months after welcoming their fifth child.

“Our hearts are filled with so much gratitude. The Baldwinitos craved so much to have a little sister. Many of you may remember the loss of their sister at 4 months in the end of 2019. There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t ache for our daughter. When I found out our baby had died, I told our children that their sister was going to come, just not at that time. Nothing will ever replace her, but two wonderful souls have come into our lives, and we are humbled to know them,” Hilaria explained.

She continued, “Our children were brave during our time of tremendous grief—braver than us…and they held out hope. To experience and accept life’s ups and downs is challenging, but a reality that all of us have no choice but to receive and process. I have learned that often our children are wiser than we are and their wisdom has guided us. Our rainbow baby, Edu, is such a blessing—we are overwhelmed by how fortunate we are to have him. We are living each day, bonding, and grateful for all of the very special angels who helped bring Lucía into the world. María Lucía Victoria and Eduardo Pau Lucas: our babies who bring light into our lives—almost like twins, we love you so much.”

Many were curious how the couple had a sixth child after Hilaria was pregnant six months before. That question was answered a few days later.

Alec Baldwin has deleted his Twitter account.

The 62-year-old actor and new father announced in an Instagram video on Wednesday (March 3) that he wouldn’t be back on the social media platform following critics coming at him for his comments seemingly regarding Gillian Anderson‘s accent.

“Wanted to post a quick video to say that I deactivated my Twitter account today,” Alec shared in the new video, and explained that the one of reasons had to do with him seemingly shading Gillian.

“I just wrote, ‘Oh, that’s interesting.’ And of course, you can’t do any irony on Twitter—you can’t do any irony in the United States anymore because the United States is such [an] uptight, stressed-out place and such an unpleasant place right now,” Alec says.

He added that his words weren’t meant to offend anyone, but he was expressing that if people are influenced by multiple cultures, “that’s your business.”

“But I find that, of course, on Twitter, which is where all the a–holes in the United States and beyond go to get their advanced degrees in a**hole-iness, that I had used it as a news aggregator, and I suppose I will do my best to find other places that are similar in their news aggregation in real time and periodicals I like.”

The incident happened earlier in the day when Alec shared a CNN article that pointed out that Gillian‘s American accent had thrown some people off as she normally acts with a British one.

“Switching accents ? That sounds…fascinating,” Alec commented about it.

Alec‘s comments come after his wife Hilaria was accused of faking her Spanish heritage and accent in late 2020.

The couple just recently made headlines again after welcoming their sixth child, just months after their fifth.

There has been a lot of speculation about how the baby was conceived and Alec responded directly to a comment with an expletive filled explanation.

The couple are also parents to sons Romeo Alejandro David, 2, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 4, and Rafael Thomas, 5, and daughter Carmen Gabriela, 7.

One person took to the comment section of Alec‘s post about their newborn baby and wrote, “Who’s the mother? She wasn’t pregnant. She gave birth six months ago. If it was a surrogate just say that. If the baby was adopted just say that. If the baby was the product of an affair and you’ve decided to raise it with your wife just say that. If you don’t want to say anything – why don’t you both stop constantly posting and begging for clickbait. Just raise you 100 children in private.”

The comment appears to have been deleted at this point, but Page Six is reporting that Alec responded, “You should shut the f–k up and mind your own business.”

Meanwhile, Hilaria posted that their six child is a baby girl and revealed her name: Lucia. “We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true,” she wrote.
