Beyonce is picture perfect while posing in a plunging black gown with giant gold sleeves ahead of her appearance at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old singer made sure to strike a pose on a rooftop alongside her hubby Jay-Z for Instagram before making their way to the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the big award ceremony.

Beyonce was nominated for Best Original Song for her The Lion King track “Spirit,” but the award went to Elton John and Bernie Taupin for “I’m Gonna Love Me Again” from Rocketman.

FYI: Beyonce is wearing a Schiaparelli gown, Alexandre Birman shoes, Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Jay-Z is wearing a Tom Ford suit.

Animal-rights activist Moby revealed that Joaquin Phoenix is mostly responsible for the 2020 Golden Globes deciding to serve a completely vegan meal at the show.

“Joaquin and [his partner, actress] Rooney Mara sort of organized that. In the vegan mafia, Joaquin and I have known each other for decades — and I don’t know if I’m even allowed to say this — but I know that he was one of the people who helped arrange that. I don’t know if it was predominantly him or with other people, but he had mentioned to me a while ago that he was working on it,” Moby told Page Six.

Joaquin‘s rep confirmed that he was behind the charge to go vegetarian at the Globes, saying, “By acknowledging animal agriculture’s role in the degradation of our planet and boldly taking measures to do its part to reduce harm, the [Golden Globes organizers, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association] has shown great leadership.”

Chris Evans was a real-life superhero for his longtime friend and frequent co-star Scarlett Johansson at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old actor helped Scarlett maneuver with her dress’ long train while they were on stage together, though the moment wasn’t caught on TV cameras.

The Avengers and The Perfect Score co-stars presented an award to Taron Egerton during the show and then walked off to the side while he accepted the prize. Scarlett‘s dress featured a long train and she had a little difficulty scooting over, so Chris picked up the train and moved it around for her!

Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley keep their relationship very private and rarely are spotted in public together, so it’s a surprise to see them together on the 2020 Golden Globes red carpet!

The married couple posed for a photo with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi while attending the event on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Margot was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her work in Bombshell. The award went to Marriage Story‘s Laura Dern.

The two couples met up while stopping by Moët & Chandon’s activation on the red carpet.

If you didn’t know, Tom is a producer who made his producing debut with Margot on I, Tonya. Their upcoming movie Promising Young Woman hits theaters soon and they have multiple projects in the works.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston make separate exits out of the Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunday night (January 5) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The formerly married stars were both in attendance at the CAA after party following the Golden Globes, where Brad won for his work in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Before the show, Brad was asked if he would be reuniting with Jen at the event, where she was also nominated.

“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. Yeah,” he told ET. He then joked, “The second most important reunion of her year? I understand… That was a play on Friends. They were saying that.”

Brad addressed the media’s perception of his dating life during his acceptance speech and Jennifer‘s reaction to the comment was caught on camera!

Fun Fact: The Sunset Tower Hotel is the same place where Brad and Jen reunited (with many other stars) for her 50th birthday almost a year ago!

Not every moment that happened during the 2020 Golden Globes was something that was shown on television!

When the cameras stopped rolling throughout the show, celebrities were up and out of their seats so that they could catch up with friends in the room. Lucky for us, photographers were stationed around the venue to capture everything that was happening and we have some photos for you here.
