Nicholas, 33, and Jeremy, 42, went for a walk around the block in between filming scenes for the upcoming third season of the award-winning HBO series on Tuesday afternoon (May 11) in New York City.
Nicholas, Jeremy, and the rest of the Succession cast have been filming season three for the past several months, after production was delayed because of the pandemic.
The official logline of the season, according to HBO, is as follows: “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall (Strong) at the end of season two, Logan Roy (Brian Cox) begins season three in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”
If you missed it, it was announced last week that this Emmy winner and this Oscar winner will be joining Succession for season three!
As of right now, HBO has not revealed the premiere date for season three of Succession.
The couple stayed out until the early morning to party while celebrating the 49-year-old SpaceX founder’s debut hosting gig on Saturday Night Live on Saturday (May 8) in New York City.
The film, which was inspired by a viral Twitter thread in 2015, released its first trailer on Wednesday (March 31).
The movie is set to hit theaters on June 30, and was directed by Janicza Bravo and co-written with Jeremy O. Harris.
Here’s a plot summary: “The film centers on the dynamic between the title character, played by newcomer Taylor Paige, and Stefani (Riley Keough). It is based on a 2015 Twitter thread that took the internet by storm despite being only 148 words long. The tweets were by A’ziah King, who was then a 20-year-old Hooters waitress. She wrote about her chance encounter with a stripper and the resulting two-day Florida road-trip bacchanal involving prostitution, murder and a violent pimp known simply as Z.”
The 32-year-old Succession star is not giving up, though.
“I keep getting these messages in my inbox about Kim Kardashian…if she’s reached out to me, if she’s said anything,” he shared in a new Instagram video. “I didn’t care if she responded. She didn’t respond. She didn’t say anything. Nothing. Nobody on her team or in her world said anything.”
Nicholas first tried to shoot his shot with Kim following the news that she and estranged husband Kanye West were divorcing last month.
“I’m wondering at this point, where do they even go from here? Where does she go … at this moment? ‘Cause she’s been through three marriages now and it’s like, are you willing to even take a shot on a new guy at this point? Would you be down to meet a new person, a totally just kind of different guy? One who could, you know, make you laugh a little bit or make you feel small cause he’s so tall?” he mused at the time.
Nicholas also described a mystery man, who sounded a lot like him, for her to meet.
After sharing his second video, many other celebs encouraged Nicholas to keep going after her.
“Ok this is the first time ever using this emoji. Go get your girl 😆🤣🙌,” Chrishell Stause replied.
“KIM CLEARLY DOESNT REALIZE WHAT SHE’S MISSING OUT ON,” another fan wrote.
Calls is described as a groundbreaking, immersive television experience based on the buzzy French series of the same name, masterfully using audio and minimal abstract visuals to tell nine bone-chilling, short-form stories.
The series is directed by Fede Álvarez, and each episode follows a darkly dramatic mystery that unfolds through a series of seemingly average, unconnected phone conversations that quickly become surreal as the characters lives are thrown into growing disarray.
Calls Season 1 will premiere on March 19 on AppleTV+ – check out the trailer right now!
The 32-year-old actor posted a video that began with him speaking about the end of the marriage.
“It hurts to think about how they’re feeling and how she’s feeling, I mean, I’m wondering at this point, where do they even go from here? Where does she go from… at this moment,” Nicholas said. “Cause she’s been through three marriages now, and it’s like, are you willing to even take a shot on a new guy at this point? Would you be down to meet a new person, totally just kind of different guy?”
Nicholas then mused who she should date next, implying he might be that guy. “[She should date] one who can make you laugh a little bit, or make you feel small cause he’s so tall.”
“Just a guy who’s talking about her on the internet. A guy who makes a video like this and he’s sort of like trying to find a way to just talk to her because he doesn’t know anybody who knows her,” he continued, adding that she might think, “Hmm, this is kind of different. This guy is odd, but maybe in a good way.”
If you missed it, Nicholas, who plays Cousin Greg on the hit HBO show, just got a big pay raise.
If you don’t know, Kim was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 and NBA player Kris Humphries in 2011. She married Kanye in May of 2014.
The 32-year-old Succession star chatted with Zane Lowe on Apple Music about the track, saying that in order for him to share his music, it couldn’t be just a joke song.
“It can’t just be super funny or to get people’s attention because it’s about antibodies and everybody’s saying that word right now,” Nicholas shared. “We have to make it a really good song and listenable and fun and put it on the radio or else we don’t put it out.”
He added that the song was born from “quarantine”. He was in Los Angeles under lockdown in a house full of his friends.
“They were doing a full lockdown deal and they were like, ‘You should be really careful about going out and talking to people.’ And I said, ‘I might go on a date,’ and they were like … ‘Don’t do that. Don’t do that. Don’t be near a person.’ So I was in this two week quarantine away from even my friends in this house and I think my brain just started turning like, what would make this okay? Or what would allow me to go on a social distance walk with somebody? And maybe it’s the antibodies,” he said.
Nicholas does have more musical ambitions following “Antibodies”.
“It’s been a dream of my whole life. I mean, I’ve been singing as long as I can remember. I loved being in choir in first grade. I mean, I was obsessed with learning songs from a young age,” Nicholas says. “…I’d love to make music like Daniel Caesar or James Blake and have this R&B thing through line to it. Who knows when I’m going back to work filming wise so I’m hoping to make some more music in this time.”
