BJ Novak is launching a series!

The 40-year-old The Office alum scored a series order for an upcoming half-hour anthology series at FX, Variety reported on Wednesday (May 6).

“Thrilled, excited, humbled — these are the words in every press release, and I can’t believe how much I actually mean them. This is my dream show, and FX is the dream place to make it. When I brought it to FX, I wondered if it went too far, and they told me, you can go further. I can’t wait to get started,” he said in a statement.

The series is described as “using the issues of our times as a jumping off point to tell character-driven stories about the world we live in today.” Two episodes have already been filmed, and each episode features a new cast.

Episode one stars Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, O’Shea Jackson Jr., George Wallace, Ed Asner and Brendan Francis Scannell, among others.

The second episode stars Jon Bernthal, Boyd Holbrook, Amy Landecker, Beau Bridges and more.

Harry Connick Jr. hits the red carpet at the 2017 Kentucky Derby with his wife Jill Goodacre on Saturday afternoon (May 6) in Louisville, Kent.

The 49-year-old singer performed an under-stated version of the National Anthem at the piano before the races and you can watch the video below!

Some of the other celebs in attendance at the sporting event included Jeff Bridges with his wife Susan, Beau Bridges and his wife Wendy, Laura Bell Bundy, Carson Kressley, Joey Fatone, and The Voice winner Jordan Smith with his wife Kristen.

Rachel McAdams is all smiles while making her way inside the premiere of Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience held at the California Science Center on Wednesday (September 28) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress was joined at the event by Brittany Snow, Ashley Greene, Bérénice Marlohe, Cassie Scerbo, Beau Bridges and his son Jordan, Ryan Rottman and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

In the Tim Mattia-directed clip, three-time Emmy-winning actor Beau Bridges plays the 22-year-old singer’s troubled grandfather who lands himself in a downward spiral after being released from jail.
