The star-studded cast of the new film Band Aid stepped out for the big premiere at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on Tuesday evening (May 30) in Los Angeles.
The movie follows a “feuding married couple whose shared love of music makes for unconventional therapy, transforming their fights into song and ultimately a band with the help of their once-drummer neighbor Dave (Armisen),” according to Deadline.
Orlando Bloom made an appearance on last night’s (May 24) episode of The Tonight Show, and participated in a super fun round of Jimmy Fallon‘s Virtual Reality Pictionary!
The 40-year-old actor teamed up with The Roots‘ Tariq Trotter to face off against Jimmy and special guest Zoe Lister-Jones in a virtual reality version of Pictionary.
Orlando also promoted Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and talked about showing his 6-year-old Flynn the original movie for the first time.
“I was very reluctant, because obviously you want to keep that normalcy and that dynamic, and I didn’t want him to know what dad did for a while,” Orlando told Jimmy. “But then he started school and I was like, ‘Well, older brothers and sisters…’ The movie was coming out and they’ll talk about it, and I wanted to have that moment of showing him me in Pirates of the Caribbean. So, last summer I was in France. It was on a little TV; it wasn’t a big grand screen or anything at all. But I just flicked it on and he was watching it.”
“I had a video camera on him as he was watching. He was like, ‘Wait, that’s you! What? That’s you?’” Orlando continued. “He was a little disgruntled, which I was freaked out about, because I was like, ‘Wait! I should have spoken to a child therapist before I even thought about doing this. What was I thinking? This was a bad idea!’ And then he loved it. He was like, ‘So, wait a second: How long can you hold your breath under water for? Did you really do that?’ Like, ‘Yeah, bro! Forever! I could walk from one side of the ocean to the other.’ Because he still believes that!”

Dianna Agron, Alice Eve, and Mariska Hargitay step out on the red carpet at Chanel‘s celebration of female directors at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival’s Women Filmmakers Luncheon on Friday (April 21) in New York City.
There are 51 female directors featured in this year’s festival, the highest number of women filmmakers in the festival’s history!
“Women’s voices in storytelling are more important now than ever. Our voices as women need to be heard loud and clear. Without a woman’s voice, there would be no humanity in the world. A man starts in our womb, in our bodies, they come from us,” the festival’s co-founder Jane Rosenthal said in a statement.
FYI: Diane is wearing a St. John dress.
