Jada Pinkett Smith and her family are tackling issues amid the ongoing health crisis in their Red Table Talk series.

In a teaser for the next episode of the show, out on Wednesday (March 25), the family takes on a question alongside motivational vlogger Jay Shetty and Dr. Ramani Durvasula, as well as Jada‘s daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

“I love my wife, but I need some alone time during this quarantine. How can I tell her that?” the question reads.

“If you’re just seeking more space in your relationship I think one of the bigger mistakes we often make is that we express what we want but we don’t explain why we want it,” Jay offers.

“I think that’s true because if you say to somebody, ‘I need space,’ sometimes that’s a trigger for one step towards divorce. And it doesn’t necessarily mean that. It just means, ‘Hey I need two hours, please,’” Jada said.

The family recently called together an emergency meeting amid the pandemic.

Will Smith and his family are having an emergency episode of Red Table Talk to discuss the coronavirus pandemic.

The 51-year-old movie star joined wife Jade Pinkett Smith, daughter Willow Smith, Jada‘s mom Adrienne Banfield Norris, and his son Trey Smith to discuss the ongoing crisis. (Jaden Smith was not present – he was social distancing out of concern for his grandmother.)

“Imagine that our local hospital can handle 40 respiratory patients at one time. And under normal circumstances, 40 respiratory patients, for that hospital, is a lot. You know, they’ll be at 12 or 15, so they can handle it,” he said.

“The way the virus is moving and the reason why we need to practice social distancing and the idea of flattening the curve is if 50 people show up at that hospital at one time, to get 40 beds, right, now you have 10 people in critical condition that aren’t going to get help. And your mortality rate shoots through the roof. That’s the idea of overwhelming the system,” he went on to say.

“So flattening the curve means not getting to 80 people at one time, we practice social distancing, the virus is going to move through humanity. But as it moves through, we want it to move through at 30 people at a time for our local hospital, not 60 people at a time for our local hospital, because then we have a real problem,” he explained.

Willow Smith is using performance art to express herself.

The 19-year-old artist and daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will be spending 24 hours inside of a box at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Geffen Contemporary beginning at 9 p.m. PT on Wednesday (March 11) in Los Angeles.

The immersive performance art exhibit will take place alongside collaborator and boyfriend, Tyler Cole.

“We’re on this planet and anything could happen, like the thing that just happened with Kobe [Bryant]? That was really a knife in the heart. Every moment is precious. And I think everyone has a fear of just not knowing what’s going to happen in the future, not knowing if you’re on the right path, not knowing if you’re making the right choices,” Willow said to the LA Times of the performance piece.

Their collaborative album, The Anxiety, will be released after the performance piece.

“We were like, ‘Wouldn’t it be so interesting if we could personify this experience? Starting from being scared and feeling alone and moving to a place of acceptance and joy,” she went on to explain.

They plan to spend three hours on eight emotions: paranoia, rage, sadness, numbness, euphoria, strong interest, compassion and acceptance.

The box has one glass wall for viewers, while the other three walls are made of canvas for writing or drawing. They also don’t plan on talking: “We might grunt or scream — it’s going to be very primal,” she said.

There will be a live feed as well, and the room next to the installation will have books and places for donations to various mental health organizations.

“I’m doing this because I’m inspired by this idea and I see that anxiety around me is an epidemic and people don’t talk about it. And so as long as it’s bringing awareness and a positive light to the darkness, it doesn’t matter if you don’t enjoy it,” she said.

Siblings Jaden Smith and Willow Smith are going on tour together!

The 21-year-old rapper and the 18-year-old “Female Energy” singer are teaming up for their first co-headlining North American tour: The Willow & Erys Tour.

It kicks off on November 12 at SOMA in San Diego, rolls through major markets across the country for a month, and concludes on December 19 at The Novo in Los Angeles.

Willow Smith shared a sweet kiss with boyfriend Tyler Cole while out in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (October 9).

The twosome dined out at Nobu Malibu and were spotted waiting for their car after the date night out.

Just recently, Willow helped launch the Prada Linea Rossa Fall/Winter 2019 collection by performing at London’s Central Line.

The staged set showed Willow performing a series of songs in a bright pink suit as she helped to launch the new collection.

Jaden Smith hits the stage alongside Billie Eilish during the Music Midtown at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.

The two musicians played to packed crowds for the annual music festival before Jaden jetted off to London to launch his new label, Erys Presents: Everything is Bad For You, at the Men’s Designer Street Room at Selfridges.

Jaden is also pictured below handing out sustainable meals to those with food and housing insecurities in Los Angeles through the I Love You Restaurant.

The initiative has delivered more than 2,000 sustainable meals to the community and utilizes locally sourced ingredients to support small businesses while packaging with recyclable materials. During a recent event over the summer, over 500 meals were delivered along with bottles of Just Water, and 500 metro cards at the Drew Hamilton Houses.
