Wells Adams is opening up more about what quarantine life is like with fiance Sarah Hyland.

Speaking to US Weekly, the 35-year-old reality star says that being in quarantine with the Modern Family alum just “reconfirmed that I made a good decision.”

Wells continues, saying that the coronavirus crisis has been “scary and anxiety-ridden just because you don’t know the future — but it’s been nice spending a lot of time with her.”

“If this had never happened, I would have been working on a different project and then [Bachelor in] Paradise. I would have been gone for basically the entire summer. So, you got to silver-lining this thing or glass half-full. It’s been nice to get to spend a bunch of time with my fiancée.”

Wells adds that in the duration that quarantine and stay at home order has been in effect, he and Sarah have only had one fight.

It happened “because Sarah stole the last piece of the puzzle.”

If you missed it, Wells also opened up about how they aren’t planning their wedding right now.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 35-year-old Bachelorette alum revealed that their planning phase has stalled because of coronavirus.

“There are no wedding plans,” Wells shared. “The thought was that we’d start thinking about that around this time, but now this is happening…”

He adds “What’s the point of even trying to get something solidified with everything being so up in the air?”

Wells also shot down the possibility of a Zoom wedding, which many are turning to at the moment.

“If it lasts really really long, I think we could do a small backyard thing. But that’s probably not going to happen,” he added.

He was a contestant on the 2016 season of The Bachelorette and then he appeared on Bachelor in Paradise that summer. For the next three years after that, Wells served as the bartender each summer on Bachelor in Paradise.

Wells is currently engaged to Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland and she recently opened up about their relationship for a Cosmopolitan cover shoot.

On being herself: “What you see is what you get…” which “is most likely a really annoying, loud, opinionated, brash, most-of-the-time-disgusting human creature.”

On her health issues: “I think a lot of people hide their struggles because they don’t want to be seen as weak. They want to seem like everything’s perfect.”

On meeting her fiance Wells Adams: “It’s the most millennial thing in the entire world. I kind of want to gag at it.”

On knowing Wells Adams was the one: “We were talking about what kinds of weddings we wanted four days after we made things official. I hate that typical cliché of ‘when you know, you know,’ but it’s so f–king true. At least it was for me.”

On being self-aware: “I’m aware of everything I need to work on, and I know the steps to get there.” First step: “Look in the mirror and say, ‘B*tch, you got this.’”

Wells Adams sought out the blessing of a certain Modern Family star before proposing to Sarah Hyland!

The Bachelorette alum asked for permission from none other than Julie Bowen, who plays Sarah Hyland‘s mom on the series.

Sarah Hyland is soaking up the sun on the last day of 2019!

The 29-year-old Modern Family actress was spotted spending time at the beach with her fiance Wells Adams and friends on Tuesday afternoon (December 31) in Cancun, Mexico.

Sarah and Wells were joined by The Real O’Neals actor Matt Shively and his girlfriend Ashley Newbrough. They were all seen dancing around the beach and the guys threw a football around.

Matt shared a video of himself falling off a ledge and into the water while Ashley attempted to save him. He wrote, “Mexico has treated me really well…. notice how Ashley heroically tries to save me after I counted to 3 and she decided not to jump… which lead to me trying to stop and… well you see the rest.”
