Betty White is getting so much love!

The beloved 99-year-old Golden Girls actress turned 99 on Sunday (January 17), and the sweet messages are pouring in across social media including Twitter, where her name has been trending all day already.

“Protect her at all costs. #HappyBirthdayBettyWhite,” one popular tweet reads.

“Betty White was born this day in 1922. Sliced bread was invented in 1928. Therefore, sliced bread is the greatest thing since Betty White,” another said.

“happy bday to the one & only Betty White. most people know her as an actress and comedian, however few acknowledge the fact that this queen runs a nature reserve where she helps the conservation of endangered species. thank you Betty for all you do,” noted another.

Joe Biden has officially launched his President-Elect Biden account on Twitter and in less than a week, he’ll be taking over the @POTUS account!

The 78-year-old former Vice President, who won the 2020 presidential election, will be inaugurated on January 20.

“Folks — This will be the account for my official duties as President. At 12:01 PM on January 20th, it will become @POTUS. Until then, I’ll be using @JoeBiden,” Joe tweeted.

He added, “And while you’re here, follow @FLOTUSBiden @SenKamalaHarris @SecondGentleman and @Transition46.”

These are the accounts for future First Lady Jill Biden, future Vice President Kamala Harris, future Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and the transition team.

Donald Trump has already been banned from Twitter and his administration will be losing the @POTUS account once Biden has been inaugurated into office.

Ariana Grande is sending social media into a spiral.

The 27-year-old Positions singer revealed on Wednesday (January 13) that she’s got a remix of “34+35,” a popular hit from her latest studio album, and there’s going to be two special guests joining her on the remix.

In a quick teaser posted to her Instagram, Ari poses next to two mystery figures with a “?” as her fans rushed to guess names.

The guessing has become so popular that several names are now trending on Twitter, including Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj.

“i cracked it…we all know Nicki is 5’3 she had made very clear now guess who else is 5’3? Doja and Ariana…now if you look at the first picture you can see they’re all the same height! DNA is coming,” one popular tweet reads.

Another big guess is Chloe x Halle.

Kamala Harris is on the next cover of Vogue, and social media is reacting to the cover.

A low-resolution image of the Vice President-Elect on the magazine cover first floated through social media Saturday night (January 9), garnering some strong negative initial reactions from users.

Journalist Yashar Ali weighed in on the image on Twitter: “Some fashion magazine news….1. The February Vogue cover featuring VP-elect Kamala Harris has been widely criticized on social media this evening. But according to a source familiar with the publication plans, this is not the cover that the Vice President-elect’s team expected,” he wrote.

“2. In the cover that they expected, Vice President-elect Harris was wearing a powder blue suit. That was the cover that the Vice President-elect’s team and the Vogue team, including Anna Wintour, mutually agreed upon…which is standard for fashion magazines,” he continued.

“3. To be clear, this Vogue cover of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris is real. It’s just that per a source familiar, this is not the cover that was mutually agreed upon. The agreed upon cover had VP-elect Harris in a powder blue suit. So folks feel blindsided this evening.”

The outlet later revealed on Sunday (January 10) that the cover was, in fact, real.

Celebrities are speaking out in response to the news that Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter.

People have been calling for the social media company to ban Trump for years after a long history of dangerous tweets and it finally has happened.

Most people seem to be celebrating the news and lots of celebs are poking fun at the president as well. Chrissy Teigen‘s reaction was an endless “HAHA” on her Twitter page.

Frozen‘s Josh Gad said that the next thing we need to do is get the nuclear codes out of Trump‘s hands.

Billy Eichner jokingly called out Twitter’s Jack Dorsey in his tweet and said, “please take me next I need to get the hell off of here I have things to do.”

President Donald Trump is officially gone from Twitter.

The social media company has made the decision to “permanently” suspend Trump‘s account “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”

Trump‘s Twitter account was previously locked for 12 hours after the events in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (January 6) and now he will no longer be able to tweet from his personal page, which had more than 88 million followers.

Facebook and Instagram already announced an “indefinite” ban on Trump‘s accounts.
