The robots are taking over in the upcoming third season of Westworld and the first trailer shows what we can expect in the new episodes.

Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Luke Hemsworth, and Tessa Thompson are back in the new trailer alongside new cast members Aaron Paul and Vincent Cassel.

Aaron is playing a construction worker in the new season. At Comic-Con, he told the crowd, “He’s just trying to survive in the world and sometimes he had to do bad things.”

The new season will premiere on HBO in 2020.

The cast of Westworld has been hard at work on the upcoming season and Thandie Newton was just spotted on the set in Spain.

The Emmy-winning actress was spotted in period costume while filming an action sequence on Thursday (May 23). Based on the photos, there is speculation that Thandie‘s character Maeve has been reborn in the upcoming season and she’s now in a new park resembling war time in the early 1900s.

Here’s what the Westworld actress had to say…

On being a survivor of abuse: “The sense of worthlessness, shame—these things are very hard to move on from. But you can.”

On being a role model for her children: “One of the things I relish in life is taking responsibility for the things I have inadvertently or otherwise done that have hurt anybody. Particularly with my children, I want them to see how important and possible it is to change.”

On Westworld and the cultural significance of her character Maeve: “It couldn’t have happened at a more relevant time, let’s face it. Particularly Maeve, because she educates herself in order to revolt and beat them at their own game…which was very satisfying.”

Eva Green and Colin Farrell walk the red carpet at the UK premiere of their film Dumbo on Thursday (March 21) at the Curzon Mayfair in London, England.

Joining the actors at the event were co-stars Danny DeVito, Nico Parker, and Finley Hobbins.

Nico was joined on the carpet by her actress mom Thandie Newton and director dad Ol Parker.

Director Tim Burton was at the premiere with his son Billy and daughter Nell.
