Here's What Russell Crowe Gifted Bindi Irwin & Chandler Powell For Their Wedding

Russell Crowe has gifted something pretty cool to Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell for their wedding – a tree!

The young couple tied the knot a few weeks ago at Australia Zoo, with no guests, besides her brother Robert, and mom Terri.

”Happy Birthday, @russellcrowe 💙,” Bindi started on her latest Instagram post. “You’ll always be part of our family.”

In the pic, Bindi and Chandler both posed next to a giant Port Jackson Fig tree from Russell.

“Even though we can’t see you right now, we’re giving the beautiful fig you gifted us a hug and thinking of you,” Bindi added. “Hope your day is extraordinary.”

Russell has been a long time friend of the family and supporter of the zoo.

Bindi and Chandler‘s wedding will be shown on television during a special Crikey! It’s The Irwins! episode on Animal Planet this month.

The trailer for George MacKay‘s new movie has been released!

The 28-year-old 1917 actor stars in the upcoming western thriller True History of the Kelly Gang directed by Justin Kurzel.

Here’s the synopsis: Legendary outlaw Ned Kelly (MacKay) leads a band of rebel warriors to wreak havoc on their oppressors in this gritty and veracious western thriller.

The film also stars Russell Crowe, Nicholas Hoult, Essie Davis, Charlie Hunnam, Thomasin Mckenzie, Sean Keenan, Earl Cave, Marlon Williams, Louis Hewison, and Orlando Schwerdt.

True History of the Kelly Gang
will be out theaters on April 24 in NYC and May 1 in Los Angeles. It will be available On Demand on May 8.

Russell Crowe Wins at Golden Globes 2020, Sends Message Read Aloud by Jennifer Aniston

Russell Crowe won his second Golden Globe this evening, but he wasn’t in attendance to accept the award as he’s home in Australia protecting his home from the wildfires.

The 55-year-old actor picked up the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for his work in The Loudest Voice.

Jennifer Aniston, who presented the award with Reese Witherspoon, read a message that Russell prepared in case he won.

“Make no mistake. The tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate change-based. We need to act based on science, move our global workforce to renewable energy and respect our planet for the unique and amazing place it is, that way we all have a future,” Russell‘s message said.

Russell is staying home in Australia, where wildfires are raging.

Christian is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for Ford v Ferrari. Russell is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for The Loudest Voice.

Russell Crowe touches down in Sydney, Australia!

The 55-year-old The Loudest Voice actor was spotted arriving at the airport and making his way to his ride just ahead of the weekend.

Russell recently let fans know that his home has been damaged by bushfires, writing on Instagram, “I’m not in Australia. My family are safe, billeted with friends. Fire hit my place late in the day yesterday. My heart goes out to everyone in the valley.”

“Still burning…” he added. “They say a wind change might crank things up again in the valley. I hope wherever you are in Australia, or California or anywhere else facing bushfires, that you and yours remain safe.”

The Real Gretchen Carlson Joins Naomi Watts at 'The Loudest Voice' NY Premiere
