Paul Rudd is clarifying the rumor that he turned down the role of Jack Dawson in Titanic, the role that eventually went to Leonardo DiCaprio.

“No, no that’s not true. I was never in the running. I just had a real interest in it because my father was a Titanic expert,” Paul said during a recent appearance on The Ringer‘s “10 Questions With With Kyle Brandt” podcast.

Paul then continued, “That was how he made his living. Talking about the Titanic. So when they announced they were making this film I really wanted to get in on it for my dad. But no we were not in the running.”

In fact, Paul actually helped encourage Leonardo to take the role!

Chris Evans is asking all the most important questions to Paul Rudd.

The 39-year-old Captain America star and the 51-year-old Ant-Man actor teamed up for Variety‘s Actors on Actors interview.

During the conversation, Chris asked if there are plans on shooting the third Ant-Man movie.

“I’m not going to be able to say anything, Chris,” Paul answered.

“I might as well ask you what your paychecks are. Paul, what’s your penis size?” Chris hilariously asked.

“It’s even bigger than my paycheck,” Paul responded.

Paul recently made fans nostalgic by returning to play this character for a special reason.

Paul Rudd reunited with his Parks and Recreation family to introduce the special episode that the cast created while social distancing!

The 51-year-old actor, who played Bobby Newport on the hit NBC comedy series, filmed a video to tell viewers how the special was made to raise money for Feeding America.

“Hi, my name is Bobby Newport and as you can see, I’m in Switzerland at my family’s private fox hunting estate, but I haven’t caught any yet. They’re so fast. I get close and it’s like, zoom, they’re gone. Anyways, my friend Leslie Knope asked me if I would read this message,” Paul said while in character.

At the end of the video, Paul, as Bobby, said, “Is something going on? I don’t watch the news.” After someone tells him, he looked shocked and said, “What?!” as the camera cut to black.

Paul Rudd made a hysterical appearance on Saturday Night Live!

In his sketch, the 51-year-old actor FaceTimed with his “cousin” Mandy, played by Heidi Gardner.

The sketch followed Paul and Mandy as they caught up after not seeing each other for decades.

“I haven’t seen you since I was seven,” Paul says. “I’m grown. I’ve got a wife, I’ve got a demanding job.”

Mandy then mentions that she did hear that film industry had “shut down.”

“I saw the movie Wonder Woman did with all the other celebrities where they sang all the, ‘Imagine, all the people…’ So, you weren’t famous enough to be in it?” Mandy said to Paul, referencing Gal Gadot‘s viral star-studded music video.

Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd are set to star in a new limited comedy series called The Shrink Next Door, airing soon on Apple+.

This is the first time that Will, 52, and Paul, 51, will be on screen together since 2013′s Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. The eight-episode series is based on the 2019 podcast of the same name, written and hosted by Joe Nocera. The series will be directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick) and written by Georgia Pritchett (Succession, Veep).

The Shrink Next Door is a dark comedy inspired by true events that detail the bizarre relationship between psychiatrist to the stars Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd) and his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell). Over the course of their relationship, the all-too-charming Ike slowly takes over Marty’s life, even moving into Marty’s Hamptons home and taking over his family business. The series explores how a seemingly normal doctor-patient dynamic morphs into an unprecedentedly exploitative relationship filled with manipulation, power grabs, and dysfunction at its finest.

The two Marvel stars buddied up for Lady Gaga‘s performance during AT&T TV Super Saturday Night on Saturday night (February 1) at the Island Gardens in Miami, Fla.

Paul‘s 14-year-old son Jack joined his dad at the show.

Rami Malek, Paul Rudd, and Peter Dinklage check out the opening night of Medea!

The 38-year-old Mr. Robot actor, the 50-year-old Living with Yourself star, and the 50-year-old Game of Thrones actor all stepped out for the event held at BAM Harvey Theater on Thursday (January 30) in New York City.

They were joined by Peter‘s wife Erica Schmidt, Nurse Jackie‘s Edie Falco and Stephen Wallem, Younger‘s Debi Mazar, For Life‘s Timothy Busfield, Girls‘ Becky Ann Baker, and theater producer Jordan Roth.
