Michael B. Jordan Finally Reveals If He'll Play Superman in Ta-Nehisi Coates' Movie

Michael B. Jordan is finally speaking to the rumors that he could be starring as Superman in the version being written by Ta-Nehisi Coates for J.J. Abrams and Warner Bros.

Sources told THR that previously, the 34-year-old actor expressed interest in playing Black Superman movie in 2019.

The publication asked Michael, the current Sexiest Man Alive, if he was attached to the project in any way.

Michael B. Jordan Would Jump At The Chance To Be on 'Celebrity Family Feud' Hosted By Steve Harvey

Michael B. Jordan has a dream to one day be featured on Celebrity Family Feud.

The 34-year-old actor opened up about one day appearing on the show, which just happens to be hosted by his girlfriend, Lori Harvey‘s father, Steve Harvey.

“I think family is everything. If anybody knows me, they know they are my motivation for everything. They keep me grounded. They push me for everything,” Michael explained about his connection to his family first, before admitting that being on the show would be “f***ing awesome.”

He added, “That would be pretty cool, actually. It’s one of those shows you want to go on like Jeopardy!, you know what I mean, or WipeoutWipeout is definitely one of them.”

“I think I would be pretty good,” Michael went on. “I’m pretty good at those type of questions and competition. I think I’d be all right.”

Michael and Steve have joked back and forth about their relationship before, with Steve saying that he’s “tried not to like him and has tried to find something wrong with him”, but there just isn’t.

In a new interview with People, the 34-year-old Black Panther actor gushed about his relationship with 24-year-old model and stepdaughter of Steve Harvey.

“I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on. I am extremely happy,” Michael shared.

Lori and Michael were rumored to be dating in 2020 and finally confirmed their relationship in January 2021.

Also in his interview, Michael explained why he and Lori decided to go public with their relationship.

“I think, when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in,” Michael explained. “So for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work.”

Michael B. Jordan is opening up about Creed III.

In a new interview with IGN, the 34-year-old actor, who will be making his directorial debut with the upcoming Creed movie, explained why Sylvester Stallone won’t be in the upcoming movie.

“I think that Sly let it be known that he wasn’t coming back for this one but I think, you know, his essence and his spirit… there’s always going to be a little bit of Rocky within Adonis,” Michael shared.

Just last week the 74-year-old actor confirmed that he will not be reprising his role as Rocky Balboa in Creed III.

“But this is a Creed franchise, and we really want to build this story and this world around him moving forward,” Michael continued. “So, it’s always respect and always a shit-ton of love for what he’s built, but we really want to push and navigate Adonis forward and the family that he created. So, hopefully you guys will love what I’m thinking… what we’re cooking up. I think it’s going to be something special.”

Michael B. Jordan Is Out For Revenge in Final Trailer for 'Without Remorse'

The movie is based on Tom Clancy‘s novel of the same name, and was directed by Stefano Sollima and written by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples.

Here’s a summary of the movie: The film tells the origin story of John Kelly (aka John Clark), a U.S. Navy SEAL, who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife by Russian soldiers.

When Kelly joins forces with fellow SEAL Karen Greer and shadowy CIA agent Robert Ritter, the mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war.

Lauren London, Jodie-Turner Smith, Jamie Bell, Cam Gigandet, and Guy Pearce also star in the movie.

Without Remorse will be out on Amazon Prime on April 30.

The 34-year-old actor and the 26-year-old shared a steamy kiss filming a late-night scene for Journal for Jordan on Saturday night (March 27) in New York City.

For the past several weeks, Michael and Chante have been busy filming their upcoming romance movie all around NYC.

A few days earlier, the co-stars were spotted sharing a laugh while filming a scene in Central Park.

The movie is “based on the true story of Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Dana Canedy’s love affair with First Sergeant Charles Monroe King. King kept a journal full of poignant life lessons for their newborn son, Jordan, while deployed overseas. He was killed in Iraq in 2006 when Jordan was just seven months old, but his spirit lives on in his messages of love to Dana and Jordan.”
